We could only meet in the final. The semi finals will be Germany vs. Italy and either Brazil or France against either England or Portugal. In other words, Brazil vs England
Basically i'm expecting exactly the same final game as last year lol. I hope we can beat Brazil, but our chances aren't really looking that good.

Sorry bout my very late comment on the match Germany vs. Argentina. Just came back home right now.

God, I was dying while watching the match!! But, YAY, we won!!! I'm kinda convinced now that we'll make it into the finale.
I was such a fan of Argentina, but those &%$"§$ attacked some of our boys after they'd won. Fairplay, ha?

Rooney was sent off!! But Crouch was put on. But Joe Cole got put on the bench too!!! WHY!! Buy Crouch was put on I didnt think we could do it without Crouch, and we have, but I still think we need him. Hes a great player.

I actually had tears in my eyes when we lost. Football is what England is known for and to lose AGAIN the same way we lost last world cup because of some stupid ref who disalowed a goal.

I think the decision to send off Rooney was too tough. It was too hard to tell whether it was a foul or not.

I've seen several replayes of rooney's foul, and it was actually AGAINST him. He got tripped up by TWO players at once, and because he didn't fall over and kept on his feet, one of his feet ended up landing on the bloody portugese guy's balls.
It wasn't rooney's fault, it was a horrendous tackle there, and you could see rooney was looking ahead, so he couldn't have aimed his foot at someone's balls He just wouldn't do it on purpose anyway!! Especially not with the ref right next to him. You could see that it was all because the portguse players made a huge fuss. The ref wasn't bringing out anything until all the players suddenly circled around them.
But anyway, 4-1-4-1 was a crap formation. With one striker you have NO options. Notice that against both ecuador and portgual, we didn't score a single goal except from set pieces. I was watching highlights from the France vs Brazil game and they seem to be playing 4-3-3. It let them play very well, because they always had someone to pass to. We had so little choice that throughout most of the first half, the defenders were just playing keep ball!!! The only thing that would get us fired up was an unfair red card and beckham being injured. But my god why didn't sven get rid of lampard. It's obvious this just wasn't his world cup. he got the most shots of the tournament and didn't even score on a penalty. He should have used gerrard for those free kicks.
That's why we don't like sven.
