lol
Well, that wasn't exactly what I was referring to. Asses kicked football-wise of course.
Thou shall not start any war conversation here. This is a thread where we peacefully come together to make nasty remarks about our own and other countries' poor football qualities _________________

Ah, I couldn't resist the joke from an old Monty Python alumnus-starring Britcom.
PS 'The Germans' is the best episode of that show anyway.
As far as football, um, the NFL is national, and American. Don't you people know anything?! *ducks, runs* (I am so kidding. ) _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

No worries. I love the British humour, no matter if it's Monty Python or stuff like Black Adder. Just hilarious!

Me, I am watching the Stanley Cup. The CarolinaHurricanesWhoMustChokeBecauseTheyBeatMyNewJerseyDevils
AndDeserveNothingButDespair versus the Edmonton Oilers.
Game 1 was last night. Sadly, the CarolinaHurricanesWhoDidn'tDeserveTheBrind'AmourWinningGoal
BecauseHeWillAlwaysBeAPhiladelphiaFlyerToMe beat Edmonton 5-4. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

OMG!!!! FAWLTY TOWERS!!!!! lol I used to love that show... and Blackadder... and A Bit of Fry & Laurie... lol Gotta looove the British.
But when it comes to soccer, I'm all for supporting Brazil. Even though I doubt we'll win... but that's a whole other story. |

Well, you never know, Di. Brazil has a very strong and good team, that's for sure, even though Ronaldo is not really fit at the moment (do you say "fit"? Just wonderin'...).
But they've won so many times already, so maybe it's an other country's turn this time... like Poland *cough* _________________

German: "Stop talking about the war!"
Basil: "You started it!"
German: "We did not!"
Basil: "Yes you did, you invaded Poland." _________________

Was that quote from Fawlty Towers? Sorry, I don't know it too well. I'm fan of Blackadder though _________________

PR: (Opens a trunk to find Baldrick) Anarchist!
B: Cleaner!
PR: So you've had a wash, that's no excuse! (starts strangling Baldrick
again)
E: (Enters, amidst the screams) No sir, that is Baldrick spring cleaning.
PR: But he's, look, he's got a bomb!
E: That's not a *bomb*, sir, that's a sponge.
PR: Oh yes, so it is. Well, get it out of here at once before it explodes.
(Exit Baldrick, carrying the sponge very gingerly at arm's length.)
