let's just say i'm getting very pissed at my video ATM it just doesn't seem to want to work and i'm getting very angry i just need to add a 3 second clip to it and then it's finished then i can have a look at it then add some effects more fun

Ranting thread I haven't been in? Well then:

I hate it when people cop an attitude with me, but I especially hate it when it's un-called for and in front of my customers! My customer tonight was running a little late for plans later and she asked if my co-worker could please run her credit card and ring her out while I finished up flat ironing her hair and when the girl rang it, she gave the receipt for the client to sign, but didn't bother giving her a book or any hard surface...or a pen So I'm like "um, so are you gonna give her a pen, hon, or should she just WISH the signature onto the slip?" to which she replied sarcastically, "Oh, I didn't realize it was my turn to do your job today, Jen." ...um, hi, I spent four hours unloading shipment, which isn't the stylist's job, simply because YOU were too busy spending time with your husband AT WORK the other night and it was making my salon look like a pig sty, so pardon me for asking you to do my CLIENT a favor. B!tch.

hmmmm i hate it when you have to clean up the mess the morning after your friends were drunk and trashed your room. (i was drunk too) i also hate how some of my friends always want to go somewhere, even when its 3 in the morning and theres no where to go, except for ihop, but im not hungrey, and i just want to chill at my house!!! Grrrr. i hate also that i dont have my english book for college either and i have no clue where to find one. I wish i could just stay at home and vid for the rest of my life, and get paid for that....if only if only...

What's the book? If it's a classic text, you may be able to find it at Project Gutenberg. As someone with an English master's degree, I can tell you whether the text is worth a read, most likely.

Textbook's a bit dicier, obviously, but I didn't graduate ages ago - only in 2003. So maybe I used the same or similar. If it's Norton's, which is commonly used in English classes, buy it and keep it; it'll prove invaluable even if you don't major in English.

Good to see ya ranting Jen! I hate this kinda thing, my old boss was like that so I quit. granted i worked at Subway, not a salon, but the personality is still the same. B*tch!!!

Hullllllllo, Rant thread! *waves!*

I very nearly killed Baby Vegas (aka Sony Vegas Movie Studio ) today! I crashed it FOUR times and one of the times it was just from hitting the undo button! I undid and Vegas vanished! Now every time it loads my project, it tells me that one of my selected audio plug-ins is not available! What selected audio plug-in, I have no idea!

At least I finished this vid before I caused Baby to shoot itself! What's really sad about this? This is a SLIDESHOW! Okay, granted it's a crunked-up slideshow that took 3 timelines and a few boatloads of transitions and effects to pull off. But still! A slideshow nearly killed Vegas! That's just messed up, man!

That sucks, Ais. I hate when my comp is acting stupid. And since this is a ranting thread! I wil rant away. Today, I was working on a vid,and had a window up for a fic at the same time...and my email that I was reading. Ok, I was leisurely multi-tasking, randomly going about what I wanted to when I wanted to...when all of a sudden, my comp shut off and restarted for no reason whatsoever! I didn't hit anything, I wasn't really even doing anything! So I waited for it to restart, I hadn't had that much done with my vid and fic anyway...so I put things back up, and right when I got into it again...MY COMP DID IT AGAIN! I still don't know what happened, but oh well.

GRR, i hate this! its like ur comp can sense that your multi-tasking and goes "oh no she didn't" and restarts. i definately feel your pain in that one. My comp doesnt shut off but sometimes, well, all the time. a webpage will screw up for no reason and turn completely white, usually myspace, and i have to ctrl+alt+delete to get rid of it and then i lose ALL my net pages, including things that are mid download. and about five mins ago i leant on my off swtich and lost the pm i was writing. that ones kinda my fault, but if the off switch was on the side, it wouldnt have happened. so that one i blame on the ppl who made the dam thing

ps - love ur av, makes me laugh and the thing under your sig is just darling. although sawyer did leave on the raft, but he came back he's so dam gorgeous

And Ais! your ranting, yays *presents Ais with wall to bang her head on* i tried movie studio before i got vegas 7 and found it to be a total bitch. i didnt power through tho, i just didnt use the bugger.

Yes. Exactly! For some reason, every once in a while, all my website windows will just shut off for no reason whatsoever. It's so strange! I only used Movie Studios for one vid. I like Sony Vegas 7.0 better.

Yes, he left on the raft, but I was referring to the 3rd season, when Jack told her that he would come back after leaving on the sub. Which pissed me off. Gosh, just leave her why don't you. If ya loved her, you'd stay with her, or try to bring her, right? With all the crap that happens on the island, even if they could find a way back to the island, how does he know that she wouldn't be dead? Whatev.

I suppose that counts as ranting.

lol, thats a rant for sure. Im a Jate fan at heart, but i do love Sawyer and kate together, i just dont think they'll last, especially with how sawyer was acting in season three. i have this horrible feeling that he may die which terrifies me because I love him. i really want sawyer and claire to be together, although this may be a dream i will continue to support ConMama even if they get a few good scenes in next season together ill be happy *is praying for sawyer to comfort claire over Charlie's death*

I've always loved Sawyer and Kate. :p Part of me thinks they won't last, and part of me thinks that they'll hold on, but I really think that either way, they are perfect for each other in a way...and I just never loved Jate. I'm not biased when it comes to fics and vids, I can still enjoy them if they're Jate/Sana or my preference - Skate, and I make vids/write fanfic for many ships. I also love Conmama, it's just so cute and if Kate died, I'd ship either Suliet or Conmama for sure!

*prays with you for Sawyer to comfort Claire over Charlie's death and then maybe Kate will see them and think that he really isn't so bad sometimes*
