Bio: 31; eternal student. I watch Lost for the parallels to The Prisoner and nods to folks like Flann O'Brien (At Swim-Two-Birds is great stuff), although I can recognize when the show is lacking. Favorites include Sawyer (when written properly), Sayid, the craziness that is John Locke's ending situation, Desmond, Ben, Richard who is growing on me, and any of the other Others not named Juliet-in-shippy-mood. (I liked her better when she was creepy and suspect.) My videos tend to reflect my preferences! I am a strict critic, and though my vids are getting better, I freely admit that my own vidding skills are not up to my own level of critique, so take it as you will.

Lost: Kate's POV of Sawyer, as canonical as I could make it. Fast-paced and with pretty spot-on lyrics.

  • Me Myself I - Sawyer

    by thefilmchick 06-24-2006
Lost: Sawyer-centric in all possible ways. The guy very likely believes in nothing but himself.

  • Lord Byron s Luggage

    by thefilmchick 06-17-2006
Lost: Yet another Zevon song. This one is Desmond. Like Prison Grove for Sayid and Poor Poor Pitiful Me for Sawyer: The lyrics and bagpipe-like sounds are spookily accurate.

  • Pills and Soap

    by thefilmchick 06-17-2006
Lost: So it turns out the Others are keeping surveillance on the Losties per the episode ?. What if it went further than just on the island? A video set to the classic Elvis Costello song that is haunted by dictatorships and genocide.

  • Lost and Confused

    by thefilmchick 06-13-2006
Lost: Parody: If Richard Linklater directed Lost. Monologues by Kate and Locke. Heavy on both comedy and the so-wrong factor. Strong language and multiple drug references.
    Lost and Confused
  • Happytown

    by thefilmchick 06-04-2006
Lost: Are they missioners of faith or grace or vision or are they grinning prisoners in Happytown?

  • Bad Penny

Lost: Billy Bragg singing. Sawyer and Kate in the video but it is not exactly shipper.

  • Avalon

    by thefilmchick 05-27-2006
Lost: Roxy Music. A song more about the island than the castaways.
    Avalon
  • Will the Wolf Survive?

    by thefilmchick 05-27-2006
Lost: The mid-eighties Los Lobos song and a Sayid video. Believe it or not, Tejano rock music and an Iraqi soldier actually play off each other reasonably well.

Lost: They Might Be Giants spin through the music dial, and encounter scenes from Lost. Much black humor awaits.

  • Authority Song

    by thefilmchick 05-27-2006
Lost: John Cougar Mellencamp singing about fighting authority and Sawyer. I wonder why I put these two together.

  • You Can Call Me Al

    by thefilmchick 05-22-2006
Lost: Lost and the Paul Simon song everyone knows. Is it as funny as the Chevy Chase video? You decide.
    You Can Call Me Al
  • The Joker

    by thefilmchick 05-22-2006
Lost: Ensemble video set to the Fatboy Slim cover of the iconic Steve Miller Band song - special guest rapper Bootsy Collins.
    The Joker
  • Prison Grove

    by thefilmchick 05-22-2006
Lost: Sayid and the most depressing song ever. The title says it all.
    Prison Grove
