Well sinceI'm a fan of the books and there's no Narnia thread yet, I figured I;d make one!
I just saw it last week and it wasnt as bad as I expected. It was actually good. The casting is perfect! The kids are great. Lucy is so adorable!! I'm not a pedophile btw!!!
the bottomline is the movie is good. I still like King Kong better though.
I wonder what's the next book theyre gonna turn into a movie? _________________

Either Magician's Nephew or The Horse and His Boy...
Movie was great, yeah. The religious allegory was pretty obvious, which will definitely upset some people...

The religious parallels are pretty obvious. I dont have a problem with that though. _________________

Yeah me neither, I thought it was cool.
And thank God they used CG beavers instead of people in costumes like the old version... _________________

They were funy mostly because they were so obvious it was funny to imagine the producers denying it
And that is the bes;t sig why the hell hasn't anyone made one like that before? I'm sure that parallel was drawn WAY before |

Don't yell at me about than/then spellings! I didn't make it.
I will sooner or later see this movie. I have no problem with people liking it I just dont like people think it's better than/then Kong. lol
Hopefully the movie will be better than the book. I read 5 years ago but I remember hating it. Wait... was it years ago? I cant remember if I'm in 9th or 10th Grade. lol |

I loved the books thought the Queen wasn't scary/creepy enough and a lot of the dialogue was left out but it was cool. Didn't like some old irish bloke as Aslan either. They should have got that deep voiced bloke from the lion king _________________

too be honest I only ever read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and it was so long ago, but I'm thinking I might read the other ones if they are gonna do them as movies too. I think Tilda Swinton did a great job as the queen and Liam Neeson was great too as the voice as Aslan (I like his accent )
oh and did you know James Earl Jones did the voice of Simba's dad in The Lion King (he is also known for doing the voice of Darth Vader) _________________ Pirates 3 - MAY 25th 2007!!! |
