I know some of our members live in the northeast and are probably battening down the hatches for Hurricane Sandy.
Please stay safe and keep us updated! _________________

Hope everyone stays safe!! <3 *hugs*
I feel really bad for my cousin, she's been saving up and looking forward to her school trip to New York for about 18 months, and now they're there and this happens! I hope they're all safe and can manage to fly back ok! _________________

I live in the east coast (NH) and I'm just now getting a bit more rain and wind. The lights are starting to flicker a bit as well. I wasn't too worried about the storm, but the closer it gets to landfall and everything, the more nervous I'm becoming. :\ My town has a state of emergency that was in affect by 3.
Stay safe to anyone who is or will be affected! _________________ *~Summer~*

I stepped outside for a minute to see what flew away (which ended up being a branch hitting my house before it went flying across the driveway, and i stood there and could have been knocked off my feet with how strong the wind is getting now.
It's currently 130+ MPH on Mount Washington and I live really close to there, so if its that strong there right now, then I can't imagine what it's going to be like soon when the wind picks up even more near me. _________________ *~Summer~*

Since I made that reply, the rain is a down pour now. The wind is still bad, but the rain is worse. _________________ *~Summer~*
