I think with the whole 'cant kill yourself thing' relating to richard, if he threw himself off a cliff, my thinking is whatever the islands healing powers are that healed Locke and Rose, would stop the impact of his fall actually killing him. So he could jump and hit the ground, but the island wouldn't let his injuries kill him. That's how I took it anyway _________________

GAH FRIGGIN LOVED THIS EPISODE!
Michael Emerson really outdid himself this episode. I mean seriously. He is the best actor on the show at the moment and I literally cannot wait for his every scene he is that good.
Nestor also did a great job. I actually felt so heartbroken for him. He actually had a little Locke moment and lost his way...poor lamb He's still a great actor and his scene with Jack it just blew me away.
Jack actually pleasantly surprised me this episode. Though his scenes were far and few between he had some pretty good lines this ep, especially when he was talking about the fact that if Jacob really did have plans for them it wouldn't end up with him blowing up with Richard. I found that amusing actually. Imagine being blown up with Jack as a way of death
Loved the reunion scene at the end. Hurley and Miles' hug made me go awww. I was a little surprised at the Sun/Jack hug though. I know she knows Jin's alive and that but when we last saw them there was friction between them. Huh. I guess it's just because they've been in two separate time zones for a while and not seen each other in ages.
WIDMORE IS BACK! lol. It's nice to see his character again. And Alex! woooo! Stunning performance from Tanya there!
Oh and Ben's monologue - BEST. FRIGGIN'. PART. I loved it and the fact he said "he's the only one who'll have me" that right there made me cry. _________________

I can see that I just don't like it It's too magical for me. I really doubt that would be the case with Michael maybe Richard though. Don't get me wrong I loved the episode just a little thing that bugs me >< Wish they wouldn't go there. I mean if Richard's head was chopped off would he still be talking from his decaptiated head? I'll stop now lol _________________

My Jacob, Paul, that's grusome, lol. Those are the kinks in Lost that I have to say, "Just go with it. Don't ask questions."
But if the bomb worked, how did little Ben get off the Island in time if he was healing in the Others' camp? Gah! So confusing! _________________

I didn't like Jack's attitude in this episode, actually. I felt like he was trying to make Jacob do what Jack wanted him to do....as opposed to Jack doing what Jacob wanted. I know we don't know what Jacob wants, but I'm POSITIVE it's nothing bad, so....yeah, I just didn't like his whole "haha Jacob I'ma try and off myself and Richard WHATCHA GONNA DO ABOUT IT?"
I can't explain it. But it bothered me. Maybe just because I don't like Jack in general, but he seemed really sarcastic and cynical about Jacob. No me gusta. (That means "I don't like it" for anyone who never took Spanish.... ) _________________

Yay new episode, kinda gutted I couldn't get round to watching it yesterday with work and college lol.
I like seeing Ben as a teacher bless him in his lil cardigan and yesssss for artz ftw tehe.
Awww I liked the convo between Ben and his father about what might have happened if they stayed on the island, that was interesting in that perspective as it normally is what it would be like if they weren't on the island, and then Alex coming to see Ben it was like aww yay nice to see her again.
Ilana is starting to interest me a little now, I sorta want to know why she is the one to protect the candidates and what her close connection to jacob was, and then she managed to annoy me with the getting ben to dig his own grave.
Yay for Richard again I wanted to give the man a hug that was cool re-visiting the black rock again feels more like the s1 feel again Then the artz connection with the dynamite i was like awwww tehe
I love Ben's blackmailing and scheming even off the island lol but then it came back down to Alex he couldn't go for the job, off the island he changed his future for Alex, instead of the island where he sacrificed it all for Jacob.
I thought that was quite funny with Miles finding one of the diamonds off Nikki and Paulo remembering when he blackmailed Ben for millions lol.
Was a really nice ending this week compared to last weeks full of death and baddie side lol.
OMG THE ENDING :O OMFG! :O |

I viewed the dynamite stick differently.
First, I kind of think Jacob knows whats going to happen before it actually happens, I think he knew Ben was going to kill him, he never stopped him either.
Also, I don't blame Jack for wanting answers about the island, Jacob, or why he's there and why Jacob has been watching him since he was a boy. I'd be a little creeped out about that, and would want to know why. And Hurley is very vague at this point. So he's got no one to really talk to.
I don't think the dynamite stick was just for him, I think it was to help Richard see that he's got a purpose too. Jack has always been the guy who needs more solid proof, there are just people like that.
Though I love Lost. I feel the last season is being somewhat forced. I just don't feel like I thought I would feel. I thought I would be like 'This show is awesome!" but it's not delivering it the way I thought it would. I feel it's being forced and a bit dragged out. I wish we could at least get some answers here and there. |

Well, Hurley has to be vague because he doesn't know any more than he's telling. He just has faith that Jacob's a good guy and things will work out if he follows him. _________________

I just meant during the whole 'did you know about this' and he was like "Jacob implied". Scene. That was weird.
I am surprised Hurley hasn't figured out that he's not crazy. LOL.
I mean I wish they'd go back to his old imaginary friend "Dave". I am wondering now if Dave was now just a dead guy that used to talk to Hurley.
And most people who are crazy don't think they're crazy. |

Now we know why Richard was in chains! He was from the Black Rock! ~.
I like how Ben redeemed himself in this episode, with saving Alex's future it was a nice alternative to his Island life.
And I give Michael Emerson credit for his ability to always make me blub when he talks about Alex. Nice episode just can't wait for Jun reunion now! _________________
