Yes, much easier. My orthodontist never says anything about my teeth unless it's abotu the braces. Not if I need to floss more or mouthwash. I just do that on my own just in case, since I'm not flossing. It kinda worries me that they don't say anything about that stuff, not about plaque or whatev, but maybe I just don't need it. *shrug* _________________

Oh, I'm sorry, I meant my orthodontist only tells me about my braces, my dentist tells me about my teeth.
Yes, it does worry me too, but it's mostly about how my teeth could possibly stain if ever I don't brush enough. _________________ Jin is lost in Sunlation forever..

I win the sucky birthday timing.
May 7, 2007 = I turned 26.
I also had a three-hour final for second-year law classes.
It was not just any three-hour final (all law school finals are that long.)
It was a final on Uniform Commercial Code, which as you can guess is about the least exciting law class out there (though Tax Law can give it a run for its money.)

I have had school on my b-days for the past few years, but this is going to be a long day of school.
Random, but has anyone been sick on Thanksgiving? (This is for members of the US only, I suppose). Once, I was so sick that I didn't eat for three days. The last day, being Thanksgiving. And we had tons of family over. I didn't really feel sick anymore at that point, but still! _________________

It's okay to be random!
I am from the US and I haven't before Sassy, because I don't eat Thanksgiving food, I eat the stuff I make...I hate turkey and the classic Thanksgiving food...unless it wasn't the food that made you that way?
Aww poor Sassy, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because we have our entire family over and we have a big family! _________________ Jin is lost in Sunlation forever..

I really enjoy the family being over, more than the food. I don't like turkey too much either, tho I do like ham and mashed potatoes...but not stuffing. And I'm not a picky person, I was always pretty easy going when it comes to eating what's put in front of me. I just don't like some of the general Thanksgiving foods. _________________

First, properly made stuffing is manna from heaven, you heathens.
Now that that's out of the way:

Yikes! I have been sick on Thanksgiving once or twice, but my big holiday to be sick on is Christmas. I am routinely sick during the Christmas holidas, which is lame because then I don't get to celebrate or do anything (my family is not religious, but we celebrate Christmas as a cultural thing - my dad was raised Lutheran and my mom was raised Presbyterian, so you kind of can't avoid celebrating it anyway.)
The big one was when I was eight years old. That Christmas was going to be awesome, because I was going to Disneyworld. I had been to a lot of New England theme parks before, but now we were going to The Real Thing. Totally awesome. And I was eight, so I would be old enough to remember it and to not be a baby, and I was so excited!
... and then, practically as soon as we crossed the state line from Georgia into Florida, I started coughing really badly. We were in the camper, so I went to go lay down in the bed in the back. My parents figured it was just a bug and it would pass.
It wasn't a bug. It didn't pass.
It was full-fledged, out-and-out bronchitis.
I dragged myself around Disneyworld for a week, coughing all the time, complaining really annoyingly like only an eight-year-old can, and feeling like crap the entire time, probably looking like hell too. I only enjoyed myself half as much as I would have when healthy (I was a giant dork and loved Epcot Center, as well as the then-just-opened Indiana Jones Stunt Theater at MGM, because I love love love Indiana Jones.)
Of course, I got on medicine and the bronchitis went away just as we started to drive back to New York. I swear, it was a curse.
We have not been back to Disneyworld since then. Merry Christmas, kid. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

I wouldn't mind a school day. I just wish it wasn't on finals.
On the other hand, it does make presents better. Three of my gang of friends (myself included) had birthdays either in the summer or over finals, and so we had a joint, big birthday party after finals were over. The rest of them got together and pooled their money ($15 apiece, per person) for one big present for each of us. Jen got a sword from the mall (yeah, I know, it's retarded, but it's what she wanted, so whatever), Julie got a collection of really hard jigsaw puzzles, and I got a $60 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble (US bookstore).
I'm just glad I didn't wind up with the sword (and Nick and the rest threatened to buy it for me. Thanks, guys.) _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

I got a sword in a drawing once...then again, I was in Kung Fu and actually learned how to use other weapons, so it was kinda cool...tho I really don't use it anymore and it's very highly doubtful that it will ever come into use in real life. (The sword part I mean)
As for my rant...my English class is really heavy. This Thursday, I have to think of a major decision that I made in my life that has affected other people (and I really can't think of anything huge), then write three pages of work on it...in two hours. And our teacher is a hard 'grader'. and that's our easiest assignment that she discussed. It wouldn't be so hard if I actually could think of a major decision, but my life has been relatively boring up until now. No health problems, pregnancy scares...everyone has problems, but not much that I had to make a MAJOR decision that has affected other people a lot. *sigh* _________________
