     thanks for all of the help!!!! I need to make something clear: THIS IS THE WRONG DESCRIPTION!!!!! I made a mistake and was copying and pasting the the descriptions from my youtube vids over to here. The right description is:

    Kate and Jack were together and everything seemed fine. But things started to go down hill. He tells her he doesnt want to see her and she leaves but comes back for him and he tells her they're over. She runs to Sawyer and Jack sees them together. He thinks she really is over him so he persues his relationship with Juliet but cant stop thinking about Kate. They meet up in the future and end up back together

     I agree with Yael (IAmSoLostRightNow) on this one. It was a cool AU idea, but your clip choices and execution were all over the place. I had no idea what was going on (according to your description) most of the time. Things were very out of order. Like Jack told Kate they were finish and THEN he saw them on the monitors? That's not what it says in your summary.And the happy vs angsty Jate at the beginning confused me. Was it supposed to be memories? If so, maybe try coloring the present-clips differently from the past ones, or at least give it some type of effect so we can differentiate it. A lot of your audio choices the first 2 minutes confused me too (and it was hard to understand many times), I wasn't sure what they had to do with the story. Not all of them, but some...I also think that the Jacket kiss vs. Jate kiss made it look a bit like Juliet (or maybe they both) were thinking about it, rather than just Jack. I did like your "it was because you broke his heart" line in there, and the ending was abrupt, but it worked...

    Again, sorry for all the constructive crit. I really want to see you grow as a vidder, just as Yael said. Please make more vids soon! You definitely have potential. Just work on your storytelling skillz. hehe

     I love this song. I think your idea was great, but I don't think your execution pulled it off. I wouldn't have been able to connect the video with the description you wrote. You should have started with the break up and then showed the happy jate moments as more flashbacks from jack's perspective. Then you show Jacket. Then have happy Jate flashbacks from Kate POV. I thought cross cutting between the Jacket/Jate kiss worked extremely well, but it looks to much like Juliet is thinking about the Jate and not Jack (this may work even better if you could AU Kate watching them kiss and thinking about how jack used to love HER). Also, be careful with how you use the speed up effect. I use it because I was to show a little more of the action in a short amount of time, but in a slow song like this it's better to just slow things down. The speed ups looked a bit awkward.

    I really hope you don't mind this constructive criticism. It's just that I think you have some very good ideas and I would love to see grow as a vidder and make some more really amazing videos. If you ever want my help don't be a afraid to PM me!
