About the LVI archive

Lost Video Island (2004–2018) is preserved here as a read-only archive, rebuilt in 2026 on the site's own look. Nothing on it runs server-side code; every page is a plain file.

What is kept

• All 9138 video listings, with their votes, reviews, awards and comment threads (4464 of them still watchable online when the links were last checked, 2026-10-23 01:28 UTC).
• The public forums, as they were, with members' avatars and signature banners where they could be recovered.
• Contests, tournaments, Council and Viewer Picks, vidder profiles and ranks.

What is not published

• Private messages, IP logs and e-mail addresses. E-mail addresses that appeared in public posts are hidden.
• The private and Council forums. They will return for their members, behind a login, in the next version of LVI.
• Spam: bot accounts and their posts.

What comes next

Vidder and member logins are coming back. Once they do, you will be able to claim your old account and its history, add fresh links to your vids, or ask for anything of yours to be unlisted.
