I just realized that I misspelled Control
I spelt it Contorl ... sorry I made the titles last night and I was very tired.
I did not notice it untill now because I was so excited to get it online. _________________ Avi By CITYWIDERODEO @Livejournal |

I'll try and beg him
Rachel, that was awesome! You pulled off that instrumental part beautifully! It was my favourite part (lol the tuba as Hurley chases after the wick... priceless ). And that cool dark light scene worked really well into it Great job! |

Thank you Hobbes!
I am glad that it is done, I feel as though I have been working on it forever!
There were a couple of parts that I did not like. However, it is really difficult to correct them in WMM. _________________ Avi By CITYWIDERODEO @Livejournal |

[quote]The official winner of the first Hobbes Contest's Open Vote is....
Marcus!

Congrats Marcus!
And now, the winner of my choice for the Best Video:
..*drum roll*...
Polarbear/Paul!
Your entry was everything I could ever ask for from this contest: an original, superbly-done entry that really thought about the song before making it to fit all of it. I would have given this to anyone who just had the idea spot-on like yours, even if they couldn't pull off the fancy efects like you did, but you went above and beyond what I was even hoping for. Your vids are always awesome, and this is no exception (in fact, it might be one of your best yet, I'd say )
congrats to the rest of you, I was realyl proud of all the entries and your ingenuity put into them! Thanks so much for entering and supporting my little unofficial contest, so maybe I can make some more in the future
As promised, the two winners, Paul and Marcus, each get the rights to an animation by me and my 3d program if they want it. This is applicable for one vid, and (hopefully) you guys can keep it relatively small so it's actually doable keep in mind I am a sad, sad, busy man, so it may take me a bit, but I should have some time this weekend, and other times Anything you want animation-wise, just ask and my services are yours! |

...Err, to be honest, this may sound weird but I don't want the animation thingy.
I thought a bit about what I'd get you to do for one of my vids, then I realised how out of place it would look in one of my vids. I mean, it'd be just plain weird. Makes more sense for Paul, since he already uses animation. But my vids are all done with clips and maybe a slight bit of really dodgy stuff with Photoshop that I wouldn't call animation. And if I had Hobbes' brilliant animation in one of my vids, it'd make all the vids I did after that be compared to that one.
So yeah, I'm happy I won for...well, the "pride" ( ), and I'm really happy I entered this contest since I think I made one of my best vids with it. But I don't want the prize.
Congrats Paul btw. Your vid was absolutely brilliant! _________________
