Well I finally finished it. Theres not really any big effects in it but I'll tell you all now that it's another one of my fast paced vids. lol. I'm not really into making slow, dramatic stuff as you all probably already know.
Just thought I'd warn ya's.

Oh and theres no Serenity clips in this video, just clips from the series.
Anyway, hope you guys like it.

That was great, Holly! I only saw just about the first 2 or 3 eps when it was on and I've been really sorry since then that I didn't give it a better chance. And now I feel REALLY sorry about that after seeing a rockin' vid like yours!

Wow, you are like the Master (Mistress? I leave that up to you...

) of Quick Cuts! You SO rock, girl! Loved the song, loved how you kept the energy just at full blast all the way, and loved how you managed to match things that were going on in the lyrics even at that supersonic pace!

And hey, at about 2:23 when that guy has the gun pointed at his head, is that Kate's Marshal?

Couldn't tell for sure and just thought I'd ask...

Yep Aislynn that is Kate's Marshall... I thought that as soon as I saw 'Heart of Gold' I was like "Hey I know tha guy"

BtVSfreak: Thanks Harry, glad you liked the vid even though you've never seen the show before. LOL. You really should borrow it sometime, you'll love it, I swear you will. It's one of those addictive type of shows that you just wanna watch from start to finish. And then you'll cry when it comes to the end because thats when it kicks in, that theres no more.

Well actually theres the kick ass Serenity movie but then after that, no more.

Oh and btw, Caleb's name on this show is Capt. Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds (aka. Nathan Fillion) and doesn't he just have the cutest ass!

Secondly, you know, theres still time to watch the entire series. It's only got 14 episodes.

I mean, look at me, I just finished watching it for the first time myself about 3 weeks ago maybe (can't really remember but it wasn't that long ago) and I absolutely loved it. You just immediately fall in love with all of the characters. lol. Sorta like Lost.

Oh and I just went and registered at that site/forum. Thanks for the suggestion and for the link. Hope people over there like the vid too.

MovieGuy: LOL Thats cool that you're taking your time with the series. I for one couldn't stop watching it once I started it. I watched them all in two days. lol. Then I watched Serenity right afterwards, well....a few hours later.
Anyway, no sweat MG, watch it whenever. Hope you like it when you do.

Hi Hollywood! I've never seen Firefly but I still was blown away by this vid. First off I am amazed you could make a vid that is still very enjoyable even when I haven't ever seen the show.

This vid reminded me of your WOTW video because it was incredibly fast paced like that vid. And because in both vids you used a song I would never expect to be used for a vid. I was very very impressed at how you made the song work so perfectly for the video. It is so fast and has such a strange beat to it. But you matched it perfectly all throught the song.

The titles at the beginning looked so professional. It looked like there was fire in the words! I liked how the Firefly title came in too. Did you do that or is that just the show's title? Either way you worked it in very very well.

As always the editing was perfect. I love it when you do really fast vids because I like to sit back at just be amazed at your editing. You really are the Mistress of editing. I'm amazed not just at the speed but also because your editing never looks choppy which is often the case when people try to edit very fast.

And the scene selection. "HOLY HOLLYWOOD"!!!! How long did it take to find a scene match for every freakin' lyric in the entire song. I've never seen lyric matching even close to as good as what you did in this vid.

I noticed many many more perfect lyric matches but those where my favorites. I'm sure I failed to get a lot of references because I've never seen the show. LOL

I loved all the fast scenes in the 2:40 too. WOW type editing.

The 3:02 flashes were great too.

Loved the ending where the ship flew away as the song faded out.

All in all a perfect vid. I can tell you spent a ton of time on this one and it shows in how great the vid is.
