I don't think this was random tho, they hacked like a thousand gamer sites. It seems like they handpick their hacks. I dunno, I could be wrong. But it is a fact of the net.

Someone posted the parent directory for the screencaps. Yay, I can finish my pilot icons. Of course it's going to be a bit-ca going through them, I already had the ones I wanted to use picked out and thought "I should save them," And then decided "Naww, I'll just come back here and get them when I'm ready." Whoops!

Wow, that's crazy. It really is pretty sad that people do this for fun. And also a little concerning, since it seems like they know Lost Sites have a lot of traffic (aka ours).

Lost Forum is back but apparently the mods didn't do anything. The media site still looks pretty damn hacked so watch out giving any personal info on the forums.

this stuff happens even to the best of us I suppose.

Chances are it was just a script-kiddie (i.e. they just follow some step-by-step instructions on a hacking tool) hacker group looking for a new trophy for their site. They probably didn't harm the actual data much, since there's no point to it (no credit cards or anything)

I thought those media sites were connected!

99% sure Lost-TV is too. That's why those sites were so big even when Lost just started, but the home-made fansites like LVI and Sledgeweb's site took so long to get up.

Heh, LVI should start a corporate vidding site chain
