Yeah I heard about the connection ages ago and I believe it. I think it probably is the case. I also thought Hurley's doctor was Marvin Candle. My thoughts are Marvin Candle is not his real name and is a pseudonym as the doctor is referred to as Dr. something but not Candle.

The 70's lookin people are The Degroots from the dharma film. People have said they look like the bearded guy from the raft and the blonde woman who chucked the explosive on the raft.

Do you guys really think that could be them? And if so, could all the others just be people they kind of picked up along the way? It might explain how these people keep getting fresh supplies. What I don't get is why they need to keep sporting the 'Old Navy/Island' wear. Can't they just call whoever gave them gasoline for their boat and order up some new duds.LOL

Yeah, I knew about the simillarities before I saw that picture a few months ago, and I believe it probably is the case. The other two on the raft were twins, which could be important later... possibly that's one of Dharma's experiements, and Marvin Candle may be the same Marvin that Danielle talked about losing his arm at the Black Rock (especially since it seems he is wearing a prosthetic in the video, and I think it was confirmed to be true by one of the writers, but not 100% sure on that)

Anyway, interesting stuff huh?
