Uh...sure....

Not to mention Walt had unusually fast typing skills/internet grammar. Hrm....

That raised my eyebrow, too! It was like, "Wow, wasn't that handy how they were both at a computer at the exact same time..."

Unless Walt's been driving the Others buggy and they finally thought, "Let's just put the kid on the computer for a while and maybe he'll stop causing polar bears to pop up in our rec room and birds to fly into the windows of our enclosed jacuzzi!!!"

OK. I just watched the episode and it was sooo great.

I love Eko. His character is so interesting and this scene, where he find his 'brother' in the plane... I cried my eyes out. It was soooo sad, oh god.

And in the end, when I thought everything is going fine, this happy music starts...And I was criyung ouut loud, rellay...Charlie walked to Claire, told her he lied... Man I just thought, hey you bitch, you now know that he knew whats inside the statue, but damn it, he didn't use it. can't she just forgive him? HE LOVES YOUUUUUUU !!!!!

And I cried much more when he walks away. I know that they will find together in one of the next episodes, but I just can't wait. Man it is sooo sad. I am still crying.

Oh and when Eko meet this thing, the black smoke...that gave me the creeps. That smoke... it can't be just something scientific, don't you think?

No! Sawyer is still in shock over Shannon's death and secretly mourning her desperately. Eventually, he will recover and find comfort in Sun's arms.

*nods* I live in denial, but it's a happy, shiny place to live.

Okay so looking past the fact that Charlie *said* he didnt use it and that it is heroin- you cant have that around a baby, and anyone who would have it shouldnt be looking after a baby. Even if the baby didnt accidentally get into it (he'll be crawling soon enough) what if Charlie did use it and totally tripped out when he was supposed to be watching Aaron? I dont blame her at all. And he did lie- and IS stockpiling those for some reason!

Let's revisit Charlie for a moment. (Not that we ever left him.)

He was weak when he took that first statue, it was inevitable. I will give him that. (Everyone should realize that that is generous coming from me.)

But he lied about knowing what was inside of it to Claire. He lied about where he got it. He lied to Eko when they were searching for the plane because obviously he had SNUCK back to the plane TIME AND TIME AGAIN (by himself in secret!) in order to get that big of a stash of "Marys." He knew exactly where it was and yet he kept insisting that he didn't.

Him breaking apart the bags into the sand to "prove" to Claire that he wasn't using or didn't want to use anymore was also a lie considering the fact that he had that stash hidden away. I find him doing that was very condescending. Trying to pull the wool over her eyes. Nice one, Charlie.

The fact that he took that last statue from Eko and didn't even make a "show" of refusing to accept it and letting it burn with the rest speaks volumes to me. He already had a huge stash, why does he need one more? He doesn't. But he THINKS he does.

He is keeping something very important from her. He doesn't love her. He loves IT. He deserved what she did. And he should NOT be around that baby. He obviously can't be trusted. I don't believe he would intentionally hurt the baby, but it doesn't matter because as Rocksiren said, he would be putting the baby in danger. She can't trust him not to lie to her, why would she trust him with her child? I am proud of Claire for standing up to it and not falling for Charlie's "poor-me" gag.

"My brother made me do it?" Please. We ALL make choices.

The fact that he still believes that bunk just goes to show that he never even accepted the fact that he had a problem to begin with. "This isn't my fault, I'm just a victim." Okay, whatever you need to believe.

I feel like Charlie is very selfish. He's comedic relief at times, yes. But most of what he does or says is self-serving. And this is a huge part of that.

All of this means one thing. Charlie = DooDooFace

Here here KC.

I was wondering myself why he didnt take him to the plane. I love that Eko called him on it. So much for personal responsibility. And although I do think there is genuine affection from Charlie for Claire- it just doesnt seem like love or anything. It seems like he needs to be emotionally attached to someone, and she was there and seemingly "needy".

I dont know. Hes been a jack ass this season- first condescending to Claire about the baby- oh and somehow women have been raising their babies for thousands of years WITHOUT Charlie's help- I wonder how they did it!

I totally agree with Rocksiren and KC on the whole Charlie thing. If he wasn't played by Dom, I imagine he would be one very hated character LOL

As for the Walt/Micheal thing: I'd be very surprised to find out that really WAS Walt. I don't even count it a twist if that was the others tricking Micheal.

Charlie is a very hated character, at least on most of the boards I frequent. I love him, but then I'm addicted to the angst that comes inherent in a drug addict.

That all makes sense but you have to ask yourself...Have you ever lived with someone who was addicted to alcohol or drugs? Have you ever been told by your mom that you might have an addictive gene in your gene pool so you're not allowed to take advil or other painkillers as regularly as most people would? Have you ever wanted so badly to forgive someone and love someone for what they've done to you but just can't?

I can see exactly where Claire and Charlie are both coming from. Addiction can't be cured. Only treated. And I hope that some people aren't blind enough to see that you just throw the drugs or alcohol away and *snap* that's it. Because, it is not at all like that. It is a constant battle in their mind. And they know both consequences but their addiction has affected their mind. It is a disease just like all the others that are diagnosed at hospitals.

I'm not saying what Charlie did was right. I'm just pointing out a few things that i have learned from experience. I hope that I have helped anybody here understand addiction a little better.

With all due respect, I understand perfectly well what addiction means and what it is like to be in a relationship (not live with someone per se) with someone who has an addiction. Just because I don't feel sorry for Charlie doesn't mean I don't "get it."

What I get, is that it does NOT mean that Charlie is not responsible for his actions. To suggest it completely undermines what it means to be a human being. Like I said before, we ALL make choices. And that is all that I will say about that. (Over and over and over again maybe, but the message will remain the same.)

Oh no! Sorry KC! I wasn't trying to tell you specifically what an addiction is. I was just trying to explain to some who don't understand. I know I used your quote and it totally looks like I was talking just to you but I didn't mean to make it seem that way. Please don't be mad at me.
