Lost Video Island

I was working on a video the other day and noticed that the transition went black during the rendering. I tried to fix it but it's still happening. It just started and I haven't done anything different with the program. When it happens, it makes the rendering take much longer, almost freezes at the black part, then it starts to work again. I also tried to make a video with some of the transitions and it also went black in it too without rendering. I use Sony Vegas pro 12 and most of the effects i use are from new blue, but it tends to happen with the effects already in Sony.

have you tried rendering in .avi format?

I haven't, but I will try that. It turning black is kind of stopping me from finishing any videos, so I will see if that helps. Thanks for the suggestion
