I saw the movie the other night, it's actually pretty good, at least for people who like science fiction/action movies. the world they create is really interesting and the visual effects are amazing. Evi is awesome, but we all knew that would happen

she plays well against Hugh which I suppose would be a very hard thing for anyone to do.
The kid is the highlight though, a great actor who treads the fine line between cute and smart a$$ very well.
Like I said, I'm a big fan of the ruff and tuff movies (the Terminator series is one of my favourites) but this didn't have a major focus on action because there was a lot of character development and fun stuff.
Plus I love the 6 degrees of separation happening: Hugh Jackman with Kevin Durand in Wolverine and Kevin Durand with Evi in Lost, and now the three of them together!
PS for the vidders; Hugh's character is called Charlie so there's a lot of audio you can use for vids if you want

I thought this would be well naff when I heard about it but glad that it's actually turned out pretty good. Heard it was like a sci fi Rocky lol

Evi looks a lot like Liv Tyler, who played Arwen (an elf) in the LotR trilogy, so somehow I'm not surprised they've cast her as an elf too.

The Hobbit is going to rock. I'm interested to see what they're doing with her character.

I'm super excited for The Hobbit! There's so many interesting people involved, not just the original LOTR cast.
