I got a random bout of Allie nostalgia earlier so
I thought I'd make this thread so we can get together and talk about how much we miss Allie ^_^ plus it'll be a nice surprise for her for when she gets back from boot camp

awww I miss her too! I've known her for 3 years now! Wow! I have some great memories of some spam chats with her , Freya, Paul and Jourdan. She'll know what I'm talking about.

Awww! I know, I miss her posts on fb. It seems like not so long ago she was counting down the days to when she was leaving and it seemed like forever. It's hard to believe she's already there and right in the middle of it. It will be so exciting to hear all about it when she comes back!

I didn't even know this was here until Nikki mentioned it on Facebook!

Allieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I miss you.

For those of you who haven't heard, she passed bootcamp and will be graduating on January 28. Her parents, siblings and grandparents are all flying over to Texas for the ceremony. Then I think she's going home to pack up her stuff and then they'll drive her up to Monterey in Northern California where she'll be going to tech school. She should have normal Internet access then. From what she says it's basically like college.

In her last letter she said the gas or "confidence" chamber (where they gas them with tear gas) was fun and less traumatic than people think and she feels "badass" now for having been through it.

Update:

I got a text from Allie this morning saying that she's now an airman. She's out on a town pass today so that she can celebrate her graduation with her family but she won't officially be finished until Monday.
