What a year this has been! Lost took us on a rollercoaster ride through its final season and here we've arrived at what looks to be our final Lost-only Video of the Year Tournament. (But not the last Tourney period.

As we look back on the incredible vids we've seen in 2010, one thing is very clear, the level of quality and excellence is at an all-time high!

Now is your chance to decide which of your qualifying vids deserve a shot at the Vid of the Year title! You may choose any of your videos that have received both a Gold Viewer Pick & a Council Pick, submitted between October 1st, 2009 and September 30th, 2010. The number of entries is based on your vidder ranking:

Expert Vidders & Council Members: 3 entries
Advanced Vidders: 2 entries
Intermediate & Novice Vidders: 1 entry

You may post your choices here in this thread (one post only per vidder, please), or if you’d prefer your choices be kept private until the Tourney begins, send a PM to LVI Council with “2010 Tournament Entries” as the subject! Remember, you must have your vid choices submitted by Sept 30th!!!

We are not able to extend this deadline, sorry. However, if you have a last-minute vid that you would like entered into the Tournament, as long as you get it submitted to the site by Midnight, Pacific Standard Time, Sept 30th, please let us know that you would like it entered into the Tournament if it gets a Gold VP/CP within the next day or so. (We'll be doing our best to vote as quickly and efficiently as possible on every vid as they come in. Be sure that you're doing the same, since the Viewer Pick is just as important to that equation as the Council Pick.

If you're having trouble deciding which of your vids to submit, our suggestion is to consider choosing a variety of styles out of whatever you consider to be your strongest candidates. Going for a variety is usually a safe bet if you can't find any other way to sort out your possibilities!

Also, please note that we have a couple more new tags this year. If you have any vids that qualify under those tags, please be sure to edit them to fit their new category.

If you require any help, please contact a Council Member and we'll be glad to assist you!

Also stay tuned for the Members' Choice Awards which will go active in November around the same time that the Tournament starts. The Council nominates the vids for those categories and hopefully some of yours will be included!
