I'm still marathoning my way through, have made it all the way to 2x12! *high fives fellow catcher-upper Saben*
Oh I know, poor Olivia, she looked so horrified at almost shooting him, didn't she?
By this time, I'm totally in line with Peter/Olivia for all my shipping needs, lol! I also love Walter/Astrid, not so much as a romantic ship but rather that I just love their relationship. They just seem very well suited to me, he definitely needs her and I get the feeling that she likes being able to help him.

Hee, Fringe's opening credits set to the theme for Weird Science (in addition to being a movie in the '80s, it was a TV series in the '90s; the premise of both was based on two nerds who conspire to create the perfect woman ).

Yeah but Peter doesn't know all the details and even if he did he probably couldn't understand them right now. I'm glad everything is finally out and I don't think I'd want it to be an easy transition for him and his father I just hope in the end that they can reconcile. _________________

yay another catcher upper
i made it to 2x10 now, so youre still probably way ahead of me at this point haha
2x08 has been my fav ep so far. i love when they have something with the observers. i was so sad august had to die
And i loved P/O since s1 but i also think walter and astrid have a cute relationship now after the ep where they were hanging out in chinatown together. i think 2x09. not romantic for me either but its cute
and he was worried about her after those guys broke in the lab. that was sweet.
i hope there are some P/O near romantic scenes soon

Dang, Broyles can really sing, can't he? I loved everybody's songs but I was really impressed with his voice. Oh and Liv's song at the end! It brought Peter back to life! And Ella fixing the ending for "Uncle Walter!"

I got the feeling that they just wanted the whole detective noir feel and didn't want the musical part. Wouldn't be surprised if Fox pushed for them making it a musical with the whole buzz around Glee but hey maybe that's just the cynic in me. I would hardly call it a musical episode it just had short parts where people singed for a bit lol Loved the hard boiled detective noir style to the whole ep though. _________________

I agree Paul, it was more Noir than musical for sure We only had snippets of 4 songs, 5 if you include the epic singing corpses I think it was because of Glee, which I love so I didn't care But the whole feel of the episode was so fantastic, the music, costumes, dialogue, even Olivia's office. just epic. _________________
