Personally I think it had to do with the fact that he had way too much on his plate. It shows that Hurley can go through a tremendous experienced and still think about something like that, while someone like Sawyer or Jack are intense on what they're working on.
Lost has better character consistency then others shows I've watched.
Bones for example has bad character consistency. |

I guess when you have so many different writers working on the show there are always going to be contradictions like that. _________________

I remember it happening in Angel in season 5 when Buffy ended, most of the writers went onto Angel, and wrote these characters so awkwardly it ruined it for me. |

Really? I loved season five! It was my favourite ever. (Even if it did kill off one/both members of my two favourite ships. ) I was more annoyed with the way Buffy ended. It suffered from a lot of the same problems as Lost this season: too many characters and subsequent poor use of most of the originals/fizzling out of the romantic subplots, not to mention the huge triangle cop out! (Maybe Kate will decide she's "cookie dough" too.) _________________

I don't like when shows take a huge 180 turn and I felt that's what Angel did. I watched Angel for the darkness, and I felt that they made it more humorous for the Buffy fans that were going to end up watching since Buffy was over. |

LOL. Cookie Dough. I was more of a Bangel fan, I never cared for Angel's relationship with Cordelia, I never bought David's chemistry with Charisma. The characters had a more friendship vibe then anything else.
I was okay with how Buffy ended because I liked the 7th season more then I did the 6th season. I thought they added too many characters though.
Another reason why I didn't like season 5 of Angel is because I am not a Spike fan and I felt they gave him way too much playing time considering he just joined. They pushed the rest of the cast over for his character, I thought that was wrong. My favorite characters are Angel, Wes, and Fred.
No offense to Spike lovers out there. I just felt they should have left him dead, his character was overkill on Angel. I was growing tired of him during Buffy season 5, he was given A LOT of screen time and I just felt his character was developed enough, it was time to give the spot light to someone else. Like Wes and Fred. |

Thanks Brooke for your breakdown on Jate and how they do care about one another, lol. It helped me find some hope again for them, haha. I guess in my mind I really want Kate to finally chase after Jack for once, or go back for him (in this season, that is). I was really upset when she left the Temple with what seemed like zero intentions of going back for him, but I guess she's more set on finding Claire. Or was, I mean.
I'm a huge Buffy fan, but I started watching RIGHT when the seventh season ended. They played re-runs on FX for a long time, so I watched it all that way. I started to watch the fifth season of Angel for Spike, but I never really understood the show because I didn't know the characters that well.
And I just discovered from Nikki via facebook that there is no new episode tonight! I'm so devastated hahaha. _________________ <3 Jourdan

And just to twist the knife, Jourdan, they chose to repeat what could very possibly be the most boring episode of the season thus far. What's the next repeat they'll choose, 'What Kate Does'? Zzzzzzzzz. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

I was really annoyed when Kate took off and her talk with Jin seemed like she cared about no one, that scene felt forced and awkward. What felt weird was that she seemed to be 'chasing after Sawyer'. Just to get his help to find Claire and then he agrees, but then you see him drunk in his house the next episode. That was odd to me. It was odd that she went after Sawyer for his help after Juliet died, he obviously needed space from everything.
I got into Buffy during it's 4th season and Angel it's first. I am more of a Angel show fan then Buffy.
UGH. I know. I was devastated. But I am glad. I have two weeks left of school and they're throwing a lot at me. If Lost as on I wouldn't be doing what I should be doing. LOL. |

As a real live college faculty member, I feel I can tell you:
Go do your papers, Brooke. That's what repeats are for.

Ever since season 5 I am finding that the answers are getting to be really predictable.
I wish there was more to the Richard episode. I felt it lacked...something.
I thought the acting was great, but it was missing something to me. |

UGH...Papers. LOL. I only have one left, which is so nice.
And my World War I teacher, our finale exam is a take home.
It's not that it's hard, it's just a lot of work being thrown at you at one time and you feel like you don't have enough time to get done.
But overall, this is a great semester. |

Btw, was I the only who didn't buy Sawyer not knowing who Anakin Skywalker is? He references Star Wars all the time. |
I didn't buy it at all. He's the king of pop culture. |
That's exactly what I said when that happened. I was like "what the hell? Sawyer is the king of pop culture references, he totally knows!" That and the fact that he references SW all the time. I figured he was just annoyed and didn't feel like "playing along", but since he referenced the dark side first, I found it kind of ridiculous and a mild moment of bad writing. _________________

Maybe he just hasn't seen Return of the Jedi too much as that is when it is first mentioned. It's more prominent in the prequels and I can believe that he hasn't seen those more than the originals anyway. I'm sure he would have no problem with Darth Vader.
I think people are getting let down by the answers they are giving because they expect the most amazing answer everytime. That was always going to happen because it's more fun having it kept a mystery and we come up with our own crazy ideas that we want to happen. I was right about Christian so I'm personally chuffed lol People expect everything to tie together in a nicely knit bow but the best we can hope for is that it makes the most sense and both the whisper and christian answer do.
I still think it's possible that there is a ghost Christian floating about, especially after Michael seemed to be there to do something for the island as a ghost. The majority of the Chrisitan scenes have been Smokey and I'm cool with that. _________________
