I just think if anyone is gonna stay on the island it's gonna be Jack, considering what he went threw to get back to the island, he has no intention of ever leaving. And he also happens to be the main heroic character on the show, so I would definitely put my money on Jack staying on the island. Hurley doesn't make much sense to me. I think his main purpose is to communicate with dead Jacob and tell Jack what Jacob wants him to do.

in everyones ep theyve looked in mirrors, well candidates i think. i think both jin and sun looked in the mirror tho, so we still dont really know which is the candidate i guess. have to rewatch

yea jack would be much more fitting
hurley being the new jacob would leave me less than satisfied, and thats saying it nicely lmao |

Yeah but Jack is the obvious choice. That's what makes me think it's Hurley cause it would be totally left field. Plus he is the only one who can still speak to Jacob directly so he'd have an automatic dummies guide to ruling the island

I was wondering if it's Christian that is on the wall. It was Christian's house, not Jack's. It was Jack's Childhood house, but it was Christian's house.

That's what makes me think it might be Hurley too. Because Jack is too obvious of the choice. And then I get confused because sometimes Lost can be predictable and sometimes it isn't.
I think Hurley would be an awesome choice just because it's so random. I just think Hurley is a lot more important than a lot of people assume. |

but if sayid and claire are crossed out because of being "infected" by smokie, it wouldnt make sense for christian to still be a candidate if hes also infected |

I don't think he's infected. I think Christian is Christian and not Smokie. |

No. I am not saying he faked his death, it's obvious he didn't.
But I think it'd be way too predictable for him to be smokie.
It's the island, anything is obviously possible. Paralyzed men can suddenly get off their feat and walk.
Women with cancer can all of a sudden be in remission.
A man can turn into smoke.
So why can't a man who needs to redeem himself, be able to dot hat? I don't think MIB is human nor do I think Jacob is. I think something happened to them to cause them to be whatever it is they are.
I think Christian isn't smokie because his body was never found, he obviously is trying to help Jack, why would smokie want to help Jack? He wouldn't.
I've never thought Christian was smoky. One of my other reasons was one of hte Webisodes. Christian refers to himself as Jack's father. To a dog. If he was somky he wouldn't have pretended to be like Christian when 'no one was around'. Usually when Smoky takes a body it's to scare someone, but Christian isn't trying to scare anyone, he has done only but good things.

first... I HATE my cable/internet... it frickin froze twice during Lost.. so not cool  ... only a couple minutes each time... first time was during the Flocke/Widmore conversation... next time Jin is looking at the picture of Sun/Ji Yeon and I'm getting all :crying: and frickin cable freezes up... am going to need to watch those scenes online
but yay! Jin/Sun episode... I was REALLY hoping they'd reunite this episode.... but being together in the flash sideways and Jin seeing the pictures almost made up for it... almost
I don't trust Widmore or Smokey or Jacob or Ben (although Ben seems to be mostly out of this battle)... they've all got agendas but I don't trust that any of them involve the greater good

gah, finally!! someone gets laid this season  I was giggling like a schoolgirl through that whole hotel scene how i miss Jun  it sucks that we had to wait 10 eps to get some good footage of them. Such a nice surprise for Sun to be pregnant again
that ben/sun scene was too cute LOVED Sun screaming at Alpert in Korean; highlight of the ep for me

but i found the widmore convo earlier; goes with my theory from before that the world will collide and Flocke is attempting to get everyone back in their sideways world bodies, whilst widmore wants to stop that because everyone would 'cease to exist'.
