Awww, thank you Kat and Stace!!!
I had sooo much fun making that vid, so I'm really happy that everyone seemed to enjoy it!
(((BIG HUGE HUGS)))
Oh and Kat, you're welcome! I only wish I had thought to do it sooner because your site is always invaluable, but this time especially I couldn't have made the vid without it! _________________

How had I not seen this before?!? This was AMAZING. One of the best cast vids I have ever EVER seen. The way you used the music perfectly, the way you used the beats perfectly-this was pretty much the definition of epic. |

Kept me watching for all six minutes, which with a slightly slower song is a feat!
I liked a lot of the stopped photos and the different levels of saturation; the texture worked with the tie in to the book chapter. I also liked the faster/more upbeat bridge with the happier photos; it was a good and welcome contrast to the earlier, heavier footage.
I liked the last 'look out below!' line going down the shaft, too.
One critique: 'Bleeding Cowboys' font makes me twitch, though. That's more the font's fault than yours, though! (And at least it wasn't Papyrus.) _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Hahaha! I *love* Papyrus, but yeah, it is used a lot.
I'm sooo glad you liked this and it kept you watching. I think you're the first person that mentioned the "look out below" which was always one of my favorite parts. Thank you so much for your thoughts! |

Papyrus sucks for graphic design for about twenty different reasons. (Google for them!)
Papyrus is a wretched half-thought-through fever dream of a font designed by someone in Redmond eating tainted granola in a caftan laced with hallucinogenics.
Bleeding Cowboys isn't actually a bad font like Papyrus is; it's just (in the graphic design world) it's becoming a cliche for Western-ish/slightly Victorian-tinged projects. Haven't docked you on that or anything, though! I just hate the font.
Glad to offer opinions! (Even when not asked.) _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

I don't usually like borders but this one looked really cool like the pages of a book. I really liked how you had it from the POV of all the children (first off anyway), reminded me of where the wild things the film which has the song as it's main theme. Separating it into chapters was really cool too. This was a really interesting, creative idea which you pulled off pretty well. Props to you Julia! _________________
