Lost Video Island

Since I am entirely unspoiled (in the Lost sense!), I figured I'd start this up. Please, no end-of-show spoilers in this thread, or I will be a sad panda.

What do you want to see in the series finale, and why? For the sake of getting interesting reasons, if you say Jate/Skate/whatever, please justify it (and please don't derail the thread with that sort of discussion; there's a thread for that right next door). Spoiler policy for recent episodes applies in this thread, too.

Here's mine:

1) All major plot threads resolved - AHAHAHA. OK, a girl can dream. Had to put this one in for a laugh, though.

2) Something other than 'Sawyer sacrifices himself in an act of reformed heroism, going down in a hail of bullets.' - OK, we can all see this one coming. That's why I don't want it to happen, because it would feel too pat and obvious. Two seasons ago, it wouldn't have, but since they've been gradually softening his character (giving him a kid, having him find some temporary happiness with Juliet, etc.), I really want him to go back to solipsism.

3) A coherent mythology is finally established and they stop playing around with Classical Mediterranean, Egyptian, and Mahayana Buddhist philosophies, and who knows what else. - I get tired of being jerked back and forth between the three. Although I don't mind the mesh as it is, it just doesn't click together well enough for me.

4) Sayid has at least a few happy scenes. - I miss the Sayid of 'Perhaps (the boar) wanted to go camping' and 'This music is very depressing,' et al. Bring him back; stop giving the guy constant angst. Naveen Andrews handles the angst better than others might, but it still gets old.

5) Play fair with time travel. - Solve it in a way that eliminates the usual SF paradoxes. They've established Desmond as an anomaly, and that's an acceptable way to back out of the paradoxes. They should use that. Hopefully, they will.

6) An ending like 'The Prisoner.' - Leaving plenty of loose ends and having the audience going 'What the (bleep)?' is always a better idea for show longevity than is solving everything neatly. Not everything needs to be in a nice package and have a pretty bow on it. Hopefully the writers will resist the temptation to wrap things up so neatly. (ETA: I know this is contradictory to #1, resolving major plot threads, and so let me boil it down: I want things to make sense, but I don't want to know absolutely everything about what happens to every single character we've ever seen, especially in a cheesy montage format.)

I want things to be resolved realistic, not in a forced or unrealistic way to where it makes me upset that they even bothered at all.

I want to know if Christian is the smoke monster. I don't think it is because they never found his body, the people that the smoke monster became, their bodies were known AKA Yemi. (People keep telling me he is, I just refuse to believe it before I see it').

I want Jack to finally see Christian again, but this time him not disappear or something, or someone claim to have met him.

I want Ben to really be judged for the awful things he did.

And I want someone to blame Sayid for shooting him, Jack for not saving him, and Sawyer and Kate for allowing his innocence to be taking away, who does that?!

I want Sawyer to be forced to know about Sayid and all of the awful things that has happened to him. Because I get tired when Sawyer rags on Sayid.

I want Jack to realize that ALL those lives on the island, who are alive and who are not. Are a lot happier now than they ever were before the crash.

I hope it ends on a happy note, but I highly doubt it.

I want to know why Jacob went to see Jack, Kate, (Not sure if he saw Jin or Sun or both). Sawyer, Hurley, and Locke. I want to know the significance of that.

I want to know who the smoke monster is and if he A) was the man in black Richard was talking to B) if that was just yet another body he took for a while.

No offense but I am all for Kate hooking up with Jack.

I was Suliet all the way.

I want Sayid to get some freaking happiness!

I want Jack and Kate to end up alone. I'm mean.

I want Sawyer to be with Juliet in the alternate universe.

I want PB&J.

I want Claire to have Aaron.

I want Shannon and Boone to be happy in the alternate timeline.

I would like some answers plz.

I want the old Locke back.

Let's see, to sum it up, uh...ANSWERS would be nice and for all of the main charcters (mainly the originial plane survivors) to live happily ever after. The End.

I don't want Sawyer to die. Completly agree Kate as that would be totally predictable right now. I would also like to see him end up happy and find a normal life off island.

I want Desmond to come back and save the day in some way as he 's meant to be special and all that.

I want Jack and Locke to end up as opposing forces on the island (Jacob candidate and smokey) I just think this would be perfect for the relationship between these two characters throughout the series.

I want a mega final battle between smokey and the losties.

Don't want them all or most of them to die as that would be really depressing even if they continued on in the AU.

Got to have Kate alone at the end. Maybe with Aaron if Claire isn't able to be saved.

I want Sun and Jin to get off and live happily ever after with Ji Yeon.

I want an epilogue showing how our losties end up off island if they make it off.

I want Adam and Eve explained although I am leaning toward this being none of our losties as they had those black and white stones Jacob was so fond of.

The only way I can see it going back to one timeline is if all the main characters from one timeline are killed off

LOL I can't Kate is a mixed bag for me even though I love/d skate ;/ I think she's one of the characters who's had stunted growth on the show. She keeps running away from things, can't help it.

Skate AU would be epic but I also just want the one timeline and things to have mattered that they've been through.
