I just wanted to tell everyone that, and that none of my videos, if it doesn't have an Alt link, won't work. I just got an email from youtube about a video, which is an interview with Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki from Supernatural, that was uploaded on or near 5 years ago when the show first aired.

And the thing is, they give you 3 strikes, and you can see how many strikes you have in the account section and it only showed 1 strike for me about 2 or 3 weeks ago, and they haven't removed any other videos since then, or before then. In fact, they have even removed a video title from the strike page. All of the videos they included in the strike weren't videos I made, but 3 or 4 clips from Smallville, which I uploaded in 2006 that were of Jensen Ackles and the girl who played Lana. Those where the only ones they issued in the list and none of the ones they removed in the past year or 2.

I don't know what to do. I have a back up account, but haven't really uploaded any videos to it yet, and I have no friends or subscribers on it... I am really sad about this... is there a way to get it back, anyone know? I really want it back!

So your account is completly inaccessible right? I don't think there is a way to get it back.

Maybe you should have one account for interviews and stuff and another for videos then you won't lose your videos.

I have two strikes on my account *is scared* I have a backup account but only a handful of my subscribers subscribed.

They emailed me back after I asked them to re-open it and they won't because of 3 videos... 1 being a video I made, that interview one and the clip one... so I can't get it back.

I'm sad and mad about this...

are there any other sites where I can upload videos to? I have 2 videos I'm working on that I want to upload on here, but I can't until I have another site to upload to. This really sucks!

Namastenikkitown is a pretty good backup so I'd start posting vids there

How do you check how many strikes you have, btw?? *is worried now*

To check how many strikes you have-- go to Account then Manage Account, click on Account Status, and it should be there. If you don't have any strikes, it will say "Your account is in good standing."

I've never heard of that strike thing, thanks for bringing it up! I'll keep an eye on that from now on.

i had a simiar thing when my first laptop died, i lost all my old vids

its really frustrating

You are all welcome... I never knew about the strike thing until I was looking through the settings and stumbled upon it.

I just made a new Youtube account, and this time I'll just upload Lost videos to it, along with that other site... and I'm not gonna post the links any where else so it will hopefully help keep it pretty low-key...

it seems like ever since I posted my other YT account on Face book that it was then when it got closed.

So, please Subscribe to this one... it's really empty and could use some people in it lol... I think I might upload new videos I make to it, and keep my older ones at the other site so Youtube won't know it's the same person.
