I thought it would be good to have a thread where, if you're not sure about what kind of song to use, or you're looking for a particular kind of song then you can ask here, people can give you songs that they know and then, if necessary you can go to Charlee's Song Request thread and ask for it there.
So I was wondering, does anybody know of any good songs about parents/children and their relationship? I want to do a Ben/Alex vid and I want a good song that would suit them. I've got Slipping Through My Fingers but I cant really work with it. Any suggestions? _________________

"Confessions of a Broken Heart" by Lindsey Lohan is good, but I think there's already a Ben/Alex vid with that one....
There's a couple country songs about daddies giving their daughters away or whatever..."I Loved Her First" by Heartland or "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw? Both of those might be a little sweet for Ben, though, lol.

As for your ben/alex vid, what kind of mood do you want it for? Because there's a good song by Michael Bublé called Daddy's Little Girl, and its kinda sweet, moody. But then there's Isn't She Lovely? by Stevie Wonder which is more upbeat _________________

ok, I'm going to use my own thread again
Anybody have a good song for a really dark Charlie vid? Preferably a song that's not overplayed? It's got to be a dark song perhaps about murder or something? i cant explain it but any suggestions would be great! _________________
I thought i would use this thread, Im looking for music for a jate vid, bit sad at the start and quite quiet but happy towards the end. ;D im picky. _________________ neil

Oooooh! I bet there are loads! About murder? Is this for a character study? Or AU or something?

depends what kind of vid you're doing. Is it an AU or just a tribute? Instrumentals are good for that sort of thing because normally songs just have one type of mood. I know the Lost soundtrack particularly has some moving songs that you could use, aside from the obvious ones like Life & Death.
Parting Words and The Gathering from the soundtrack both start of quite bittersweet and then end on a hopeful note.
I dont know if this helps or not but i dont really know a lot of music to know any non-instrumental songs like you want :S _________________
