Lost Video Island

I finished my video in Windows movie maker, published it, and then uploaded it onto youtube. When I watched it on youtube though, it went on for an extra 5 min with just a black screen. I think I know why, there is probably something you have to click or do in movie maker after the last clip, but I don't know what. Does anyone?
Also, and this may have something to do w/ the above, but it also didn't have a picture to represent the video for when somebody searches for it, it is just black. I hit edit and it gave me the option to choose the still I wanted to represent it (it only gave me 1 choice tho which I thoght was weird) and I clicked it and hit update but it didn't change it, it was still just black.........Can anyone help me with these two problems? I would really appreciate it.

ive had the exact same problems before so dont worry! What i usually do is re-save the vid in WMM and then check the vid on Windows Media Player to see if its fully loaded. It saves time if you do that first. If it doesnt just keep resaving it. Its a pain in the ass but most times it does work on the 2nd or 3rd time.
As for the second enquiry, give it a couple of hours and the stills should come up
