ok; im attempting a freewebs site but it is screwing with me and I hate it. For some reason; half the text is in italics and won't come off. For some reason half the text is gigantic and when i change it it just goes back to big :S its extremely annoying and I can't fix it. more to the point; I can't find any help on the matter :S:S:S:S so i dont know if this is just normal freewebs crap or if its something I can fix :S any help?

I had a freewebs site for about a year....I assume I technically still have it, since it's still live, but I don't really do anything with it anymore. If you can show me an example of what your having trouble with I'd love to help you out.

Also, if you have any HTML knowledge, I know of a free web hoster that has much more freedom than Freewebs does, so if you'd like to take a look at that...or if you'd like to look at what you can do with those sites, just let me know. I mean, you have to have at least basic HTML knowledge, since you kind of have to make your own layout and what not, but if you'd like help with that let me know, I'd love to help out in anyway possible. I know how frustrating these types of things can be...I've been having loads of trouble getting my gallery for my site to go live, and it's been driving me bananas ...so just let me know

id love your help tammy there probably are better sites than freewebs but i pretty much have all the season 1 clips up and running and dont wanna move them

http://www.freewebs.com/littleton-pace/

click on the season 1 links and scroll down and you'll see the issue. And, for some reason, the episode names disappeared even though i continually input them :S:S:S as i said; any help would be much appreciated!!

EDIT:

I think i might know the issue. freewebs seems to have had a makeover since I was on last night. perhaps I was doing stuff as they were moving stuff around. I'll try and edit them again and see how it goes

DOUBLE EDIT:

No; its still screwed. it wont let me take off italics or change font size!!! its pissing me off!! :S

Hmmmm...that is odd. I didn't notice that when I looked at your site earlier. The only thing I can think of, without looking at the pages while your editing them directly, is that it's something to do with the dividers...I think is what they're called..it's been a while since I've been on Freewebs...If it's not that, the only thing else I can think of is to just kind of redo the page(s) with your own written up HTML....If you need help with that, let me know...I'm not like extremely skilled in HTML or CSS or anything, but I could try my best to help you out.

I might be able to help you a bit more if you maybe...took a screencap of what your page looks like while your editing? Maybe I could spot the error that way?

Sorry I'm not being more helpful

Maybe try to highlight the italic text, and see if the italic button is selected. If that doesn't work, then I really don't know....I don't really see any kind of error with the page itself. Like I said, if that doesn't work, maybe try doing the page with HTML instead of the page editor...

If need anymore help, just let me know. Like I said, I'm not a pro at HTML, but I'll help out as much as I can.

nah; i tried that. highlighting and undoing it, deleting the whole box and starting again - nothing worked. it was like itatlics was the only way you could do it i tried adding new boxes but the problem remained so I bit the bullet and started a whole new page. and no problems whatsoever have come up

I have a feeling the problem had something to do with the link still being on the pictures i used. Ive taken them off them all now but that may have had something to do with it :S

Thanks for your advice Tammy!! ill come to you in the future if i hit a snag
