This all came about when I realized I was too chicken to watch Jin get blown up again (not that I believe he's really dead but anyway). Sorry if this has been brought up before, btw, but when I paused the screen at this point and got this shot.
Take note; there is no one on the deck. and two seconds before we can clearly see Jin at the end of the freighter yelling and waving at Sun as well as a number of other randoms running around frantically.
Surely it's not just an error of the writers, not putting little fake people on the boat? Since it's been done with computer editing; that's even easier to whack a person or two on there running around. that's how they added people in Titanic (little bit a trivia there ;P)
Anyway; my theory is - since directly before the BOOM christian says to michael 'you can go' maybe he replaces the boat with another one? or somehow manages to 'save' everyone on board? Just an idea; but I thought it was a weird thing; no one being on the boat ;P _________________

lol yeah maybe everyone got teleported by Christian xD
It's probably just something they never bothered with I mean you wouldn't want people on the boat when it blows up for real hehe I'm sure they had somekind of an explosion even though it was mostly cgi. _________________

yeah, true
but like when the plane crashed; there were cgi people in there as well are real ones; i just think its really odd to have such an empty deck. even obviois CGI crazies running around would suffice. unless there's a reason there's no one there; like The Amazing Christian. heck; if ben can make a whole island disappear... _________________

I noticed that too Kat. It would be the directors or the editors error though, not the writers. Maybe its showing that Jin is alive? |

thats my thought trey. i dont think its an error; its too big of an error. but it helps the Jin's alive theory. Also; not that it means anything, but no one on the chopper in the immedaite scene ever says Jin's dead. They just say things like "There's no one down there!" "No one's there." "he's gone" and stuff. not that it means anything; but no ones saying he's dead. maybe for good reason _________________

It's not an error. Something's going on with the whole "smoke" thing. Here are some photos i captured from the pilot.
Look over Locke's head.
Sudden smoke appearances... and then Jack wakes up in the jungle, apart from the others... and Christian tells Vincent to go find Jack because "He has work to do"...
The island wanted some passengers alive and it saved them. Same thing with the freighter in my opinion. The passenger's of Kahana were saved by the island. _________________
