My first AU in a while and that one was very difficult to do since there are only very few scenes with Penny. Don't be too hard on me.

Awh that was the sweetest thing! Ive been obsessed with that song lately!
You really captured the emotions of the songs and like you said there are hardly any Penny scenes. Loved it!

WOW! I love that song! I hear it all the time on the radio, and i always thought how one would do this too a video, but i NEVER would of thought Charlie and Penny! It makes total since, you did such a great job manipulating the scenes. What show did you get the penny footage from? I know shes on an HBO show, but im not sure which one? Anyway, i really loved it. It was sweet, i really liked the line "because of you the world will never be the same" with her and the sky turning vilot. OMG I love this soo much!!!

AWESOME JOB!!! Karolina, this is kick ass! honestly, i dont know where you thought of this idea but keep em coming. this was flawless. all the AU scenes were perfect. for some one who hasnt watched the show they'd swear it was real

i loved the lil scenes off the island like Penny watching Charlie play piano and fixing his tie and the baby, all so sweet! fabulous song as well, perfect fit for Charlie/anyone really, but penny? my god, awesome

what on earth will their ship name be? cos this will create a whole wave of charlie/penny fans, i tell ya

Chenny? Perlie? Charlope? maybe last names...Padmore? Wace? *shrugs* lol

WOW.

Amazing video, Kaja! Beautiful AU, lovely story. I loved the colors, it was so sweet and it really seemed like Charlie and Penny cared for each other even though in real life they've only seen each other, like, once. Fantastic--really, really excellent!

Wow. Just wow. To be honest, I actually considered doing this pairing myself but decided it would be too difficult--as I'm sure it was! This just astounds me, really. I love this song, love flow of the video, and love how well you made this AU! Those scenes looked real, and I never would have come up with half of them. Such a great vid!

OMGWTF That was awesome!!!

Very original! Loved the pairing of the two English characters!

The sepia tone was so pretty and the split screens were so beautiful and well done! I especially loved the ones where there's overlays.

The clips you chose were so clever and flawless - I can't believe you manage to do an amazing and believable Penny-Charlie vid with the very little Penny footage...that and the fact they shared only one scene together. My favorite of those clever clip choices was when penny was looking at Charlie playing piano.

You know, Daire is a very popular ship and a lot of people thought about using the blond Penny for Claire but I would have never dreamed that someone would use Claire for Penny in a ship that is the total opposite of Daire!!!

And the ending was perfect with Penny's quote "All it takes to survive is one person who truly loves us" sniff. I wish someone could have truly loved Charlie.

Oh but... I did, I did!!!! That means he's still alive.

Enough of that!!!

Awesome, original, clever, beautifully executed video. I worship you.

BTW, my friend wrote a fic where Penny rescues Charlie from the Looking Glass Station (something to do with a portal) and toghether they try to rescue Desmond and Claire. It was great, Penny and Charlie made a great team.

I'd love to see that in canon. *is still in denial*

Becca: Thank you so much! That song is lovely, isn't it? As far as I know, it's been out in America for a while now, but it's quite new here in Germany and you can hear it on the radio over and over again. I was totally obsessed with this song, too, and I wanted to make a vid to it so badly. I thought about Harry Potter (Ron/Hermione or Harry/Ginny) at first, but there already is a great R/HR vid to this song at Youtube. So I had to come up with something else...

I'm glad you like the colouring. I had to change the colours because the AU moments with Charlie and Penny didn't look too convincing at first. After changing the colours into this glowy sepia tone it was already much better. Thanks a lot for commenting!

Charlie: Thank you so much, hon! I had to cut the song down a lot because there were some lines that didn't fit at all because the song is actually about a teenage love.

You should have a listen to the whole thing. It's so beautiful!

The non-Lost footage is from a show named "Tell me you love me". It's a new show (and really not my type of show, to be honest) and there's only been the Pilot so far. Sonya Walger (Penny) plays one of the main characters there so that was a good chance for me to get some more footage. Thanks again for your kind words!!

Kat: Awww, many thankies!! *happy dance* As for the ship name... I totally like Charlope!! That one's very good, IMO.

When I started working on this vid, I wasn't sure at all if I could really do this. It seemed so tricky and difficult!

I'm glad that it worked out in the end. Penny is such a sweetheart and, although she really belongs with Desmond, I actually loved the idea of her and Charlie. They're both very loving and caring persons, so why not?
