My favourite moment is when you transposed the future Jack on the plane and past Jack on 815 and Cindy and then the stewardess to the beat. Another part I squeed at was when Jack and Juliet were sitting together on the beach awesome! A really beautifully crafted video. Great job Ais! I totally think Jack is missing Juliet aswell. I guess she died or was left behind _________________

You know, to be honest, I was like RACKING my brain trying to think of a time when Jack and Juliet were sitting together for a sunset like that and I thought I was just missing something. REALLY great manip!!
Woo, score! I really finessed that sucker, trying to get it to look convincing for the few seconds its on screen. *iz proud*
Thanks again SO much! *squishes*
KajaM: Aw, thanks, Karolina! Ooo, I do indeed LOVE Jacket! I've been just waiting for a chance to do a Jacket vid! I'm SO glad that you not only enjoyed the vid but that you liked the song! I've loved this song for a long while and when I heard it again the other day, I just couldn't believe how well the lyrics really seemed to fit Jack at this point! And I'm so happy that the audio parts seemed to work well! Whew! I was more nervous about them than pretty much anything else, I think! Thanks so much for the detailed review! *squeezy hugs!*
charmed_charlie: Yay, Charlie's socks were rocked! I'm really glad you liked it and that it didn't disappoint! *hugs!*
Manon: Thank you so much!
nomad: Aw, thanks so much! I really appreciate all of the lovely things you said about my vids and my editing! You have no idea how much that means to me! Thank you!
wolffootball37: Thanks, Trey! I'm glad you mentioned the coffin shots because that was actually just about the very first scene I thought of when I decided to try doing this vid! I was hoping it would turn out! Awww, and thanks for considering it download-worthy! *squee!* And thanks also for commenting on my LJ as well as here! *hugs!*
dduked: Thanks so much! The stewardess comparisons were one of those things I was hoping people would notice and like! Thanks again!
Apple: Thanks so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
Luka: Aw, thanks so much, Luka! I have to admit, I loooooove Jack when he's all screwed up, dark and angsty! Juliet's hand on the wall was something I did on a spur of the moment then I decided I was going to make that glowy thing her "signature" through the whole vid. I hoped it didn't seem weird-looking! I'm really glad that you liked it! Thank you!
Polarbear: Pauly! Ooo, there's no higher compliment for me than getting a *squee* from you! I really glad you liked it! Thank you bunches! *glomp*

OMG!!!! Runaway Train by Soul Soul Asylum!!! I don't know how many times I've listened to that song... I still have images of all those missing kids showing up in the video clips in my mind. I love that song so much!! Squee!!
Great video!! I love angsty Jack and the Jacket moments... great beat use and I love that shot of Jack and Juliet together at the beach!! Great job! _________________

Aw, thanks so much, Cinthia! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I absolutely love that song, too. Oh man, I'd forgotten about the video for it until you mentioned it! *amnesia* *hugs!*

Who wants a happy Jack vid! The only reason I can still tolerate Jack is through angsty vids like this and Heather's "Scars!"
Aislynn, this was truly a beauty!
The things I LOVED:
- the parallels between the past and future (stewardesses on the plane/drinking on the plane)
-the subtle effects ("everything seems so faded" - background goes to gray). So brilliant!!
-the great beat use!
Things that made me add this to my favorites (hell, yeah, it's going straight to my youtube favs):
-the fact that were able to create an AU plot (and a Jack/Juliet one! yeah!) from ONE episode of flashfutures and follow so closely to the lyrics.
-the storyline and the voiceovers! Man, I can't believe
Spoiler:
how you showed all the Losties "dying" (even Juliet - clever) and Jack's remorse over their deaths.

I'm a believer. I'm a believer in your AU! That could totally be (and I now suspect really was) why Jack was so distraught in the future! He's the cause of Juliette's, and everyone else's, death!
Nice vid indeed! Very touching poor Jack. I absolutely adore the part where Jack breaks the coffin - that's been like... my favorite Jack clip of all time ever since you used it in Cry Me a River, and I love the fact that you still use it like this (is it just me, or has everyone else forgotten about that Jack? lol )
Another Aislynn masterpiece.
(but just one of these things has to be Locke someday, you know )

Ais I'm SOO so glad you finished this! And it's awesome, i don't know what else to say! Angsty!Jack, who could ask for more?! I seriously love this vid to little, tiny bits!

It's really well edited ! Even though I'm not a big fan of that song, I gotta say your vid is fantastic. The beat use and the editing are brilliant, so is the colouring
And I really luuved the Jacket moments Great manipulation when they are at the beach at sunset
Great job

This video is JUST amazingbrilliantlovelywonderful (and another video worthy of my four-words-in-one ). My favourite parts: the bits where you cookie-cuttered around Jack standing on the roadside and made the entire background red, Jack and Juliet watching the sunset, and the little green flash inside the bottle of liquor. All beautiful touches to an already beautiful video!

Argh, I apparently have been on a runaway train myself, which is why I haven't been back here in way too long! *glares at RL for keeping me away* Apologies!
PsychoCynic: Who wants a happy Jack vid, indeed... Thanks so much for the details, always very, very appreciated! I'm glad you liked the things like the "faded" parts; they were really fun to do! Thanks again! *smishes you*
Hobbes: Heh, that was my sooper sekrit goal with this one, to make a "canon AU" vid. This is my prediction of why Jack was so distraught in the finale and what brought him to be on that bridge. Well, as much as I could predict the future whilst using "past" footage. I was wondering if anybody would notice I used that coffin-breaking scene again! It was my Angsty!Jack the second tribute to "Cry Me..." aka Angsty!Jack the first... Plus, I just really liked the way it worked in that scene and I was SO hoping that it would turn out good! I dunno about "masterpiece" but I appreciate the sentiment anyway! And, right here in front of everybody on the Internet, I'm pinkie-promising you personally, Warren, that I WILL make a Locke vid before Season 4 begins.
Whether or not it's sucky, I can't say... But by crikey, I'll make it! *squeezy hug!*
dayln03: Aw, thanks, hon! I've really appreciated all of your encouragement with my vidding! There's no telling how many vids I would've given up on and buried in the backyard if not for all of the lovely things that fabulous vidders like yourself have said to me! *smishes you*
Trinity184: Thank you! I was so happy to finally get the chance to do a Jacket vid; I love them so much! I'm so happy that the sunset manip has been so well-received! Thanks again!
AlcoholicPixie: KAYYYYYYLAAAAA!!!!! Four-words-in-one, SCORE! And yay, a mention for the red background at the start! I worked on that thing all the way through the vid, still tinkering with the cookie cutter up until I was almost ready to do the final rendering! That's one of the few times when Baby Vegas just couldn't do the precision that the Big Vegas can, but I hope we faked it well enough that it didn't matter, lol! And *squee!* Nothing tickles me more than hearing that somebody wanted to save one of my vids permanently! Thanks so very much! *hugs!*

I love all of your vids, Ais! And this has officially become part of my top three Jack vids of all time (in no particular order; Runaway Train, KajaM's Bury Me and Di's Imaginary Lives). Seriously, it's amazing, and you're grasp of Baby Vegas is just masterful. *bows down, chanting 'Kudos'* _________________ Supernatural Video Station

Wow, that's some extremely high company to be included in with! Thank you so much, hon! *hugs!*
