Very cool. I don't think I've ever seen an angsty Skate vid where the angst isn't... about Skate LOL and they actually comfort each other! *gasp* I like that angle though, it's refreshing and really true to Skate .
As always, kudos on the great beat, effects, etc etc etc . Great vid (and that song is such a classic )

The angst, the angst!!!!

OMG that was amazing!!! With the humongous number of skate vids there is, it's quite amazing to come up with something truly unique. I love how you made so much VISUAL parallels of Kate and Sawyer's stories (and I can't believe how much that song fitted!!!)

Amazing effects and you're my hero for making the parallels between the Sun abduction and the Michael poisoning.

And I know I'm going to have to watch again because there's probably a 1,000 things I missed (that and the screaming kids next to me don't help!! ). And speaking of which, would you have a download link? pretty pleaaaaaaaaase????

Maria: Glad you liked it I wanted to make a non AU Skate vid and still have it unique in that it was mainly based on how similar their characters were rather than how much they love each other. Thank you for pointing this out

As per the Sawyer childhood scene, yes that is what I did how perceptive of you It does help to change the colors of the clips and try and match them up when doing split screens

Glad you liked the song. Linkin Park is my guilty pleasure cause you'd probably associate them with younger people than me o.O but their music does kick ass at times.

Warren: Yes this is very true, Warren Skate do comfort each other because they know they are not alone with their problems of their past Glad you liked the vid Maister Hobbes!

wolffootball37: Do you not usually like relationships on the show/relationship vids then? Glad I made you enjoy one.

I was the same and I do hold the story as more important but I see the ships as an offset of the story and part of it.

Cinthia; I am a total lover of angst I am really glad you noticed the parallels, I really tried harder to mirror some of the scenes and events going on between both of them, hope that came across.

LOL screaming kids. Watch it when they are at school hehe Thanks for the comments!

Oh and here's a download link: http://media.putfile.com/easier-to-run---Skate

I think putfile allows downloads now although it is an awkward process, else you can do the trick of viewing the page code and searching for the .wmv file

I got it! Last time I tried to download from putfile, the file was not playable.

As for the kids, they're 1 and 3. A little to young to be in school. I'm old, but not that old.

Its not that I don’t like shipper videos, a well made one is always good. I just don’t like the ones where they have some sappy love song and clips of let’s say Kate and sawyer making out witch are in every other ship video. I like more creative ones that go deeper into the relationship, much like this one. as for the show, I see the character relationships just as big a part of the story as the mythology is, I love skate jate and pb&j moments, but I think they took it a little too far with the triangle thing in the last few episodes of season 3, just my opinion though.

Ah okay Good to hear you appreciate the shipperness. I know what you mean about the sappy ones but sometimes just simple, sweet Skate vids can be made well too. It all comes down to technical editing and lyric/clip choice. I have to say I prefer the angst ones, those are the relationships I enjoy the most although I was a little creeped out by Boone and Shannon

First off, I not only love this song but I love Linkin Park (and you might've noticed I'm a little partial to Skate, too... ) AND I happen to think you're pretty much the bee's knees so I was all ready to marry this vid before I even watched it!

However, I'm glad I did actually go ahead and watch it! I nearly screamed out loud when we got to the Supernatural footage! I swear, the idea to use that footage as some sort of freaky something for the Marshall had just crossed my mind the other day when I was watching Supernatural! Great Skater minds think alike, huh? Anyway, the way you used it was way cooler than anything I'd thought of! It worked perfectly!

This was not only an awesome Skate vid but it was a really wonderful character study of both of them. The beat use was fab, as always, too. And the effects were dead-on, interesting to look at but always bringing something to the over-all vid, never feeling like they were there just for the sake of being there. If that makes sense?

Beautiful, beautiful work!

Awesome job, Paul. Loved the beat use and all of the split-screens and effects. I especially thought Kate seeing Sawyer in the mirror was really cool. As always pretty much a perfect vid.

I downloaded it yesterday morning , but was't having time to post comment because of work ...

Anyway it's great!!!! I love Linkin Park since I was at school (such a depressing music is totally in my taste.lol)

All the effects was profecional done, I love especially the Sawyer and Kate's dissapearing at the begining...and creepy Marshall eyes ...omg it will be my new nightmare ...really You know this actor really used to scare me when I saw him in Kate's flashback, I always thought that his face..is..well..scary...I don't want my future husband to have such face ..and now with this your eyes effect this actor scare me even more lol

Anyway, great song choice! and the whole story was just great. Even so your Rest in Pieces still my favorite your skate vid , but this Easier to run is fabuluos anyway

And actually it's fantastic to see well made skate vid. 'cause you know I admit to myself that here was mostly good Jate vids, but lack of skate, so it's good to see a great vid. on our Skate side

Oh, and I love the end.."Kate damn it run!!" and than she kissing Sawyer and not running anywhere

Aislynn: Would you settle for marrying me instead? *fluttery eyes*

Seriously Ais we do have a vidding connection, I swear cause in our vids there has been similar effects (disappearing in Tonight I wanna Cry and Boys of Summer, one of the first people to use the fake hatch tv screen in your Ben vid and I used it in Obsessions) Skate minds think alike

You mean Skate is fate? Yep I was defintely trying to push that home with all the similarities and stuff, thanks for noticing that!

Thanks for your fantabulousâ„¢ comments!

marcus: Thanks Marcus!! When are we gonna get you vidding again? Hopefully sometime soon Glad you liked the mirror thing

Jen: *megaglomp* Thanks!!

Savanna: OMG you make me laugh I hope you don't get the Marshall as a future husband either haha

I'm glad you appreciated the ending, you're spot on with what I meant by it

Thanks for the comments sweetie!

This vid rox!! Like all of the polarbear vids do. I need to get better editing software...

Anyway! Awesome, well done, bravo!!!! I love the intensity of the character development all crammed in there and the Skateness was just like the cherry on top! How do you do that dissappearing effect? (For future reference when I hope to get better software.)

Loved it!!! A++++++ and fifty gold ones!
