Just amazing! You know I have a soft spot for the way you alter the coloring on things! And the song was a good choice...very sultry and sumultuous (is that word? *checks*) No, I made it up...LOL! It sounds good too! Like something dirty! hehe
Awesome job!! You know I loved it! |

This is the lamest reason ever. My last two vids were Jack/Sawyer/Kate and the one before that was Jack/Sawyer. I started working with the opening of this song a few weeks ago and, of course, the clips I had in my mind (and at the ready) were Jack, Sawyer, and Kate clips. I fully intended to make this into a full-on ensemble vid, Eko, Locke, Ana-Lucia, Sayid, etc. But when I stuck those first three clips in, (and those are the original three). I realized the pattern in the music. Three slow (more than 3 notes, but definitely 3 sets of somethng), three quick. THREE. I contemplated changing the opening to allow for a more inclusive ensemble vid, but they just looked SO GOOD. I couldn't take them out yet. I stuck the next three clips in there just to see what they looked like, at this point I'm still thinking ensemble, but let's just try something out here. I knew then that this would be just for Jack/Kate/Sawyer. |
LOL oh okay, that makes some sense. |

oh wow! That was intense. It was always easy to make some parallels between Sawyer and Kate but I could never imagine the Jack ones. That was an real eye opener.
Great colors, awesome lyric interpretation...It's amazing you found a way to match every lyrics and they weren't easy.
You made the triangle not painful for me to watch. (I have issues ) _________________

KC!
WOW!
I love this song! I always thought that would be such an amazing Lost video.
The colors were stunning! And the effects great, like always.
You´re the best Jack-Kate-Sawyer vidder, for sure!

Borislava - Thanks very much. I found it kind of funny how I had started this vid a few weeks ago and just the other day I watched that LOST emmy panel and I think it was Carlton (maybe) who said something like "It really is about the monster within" Or SOMETHING like that. I can't remember. Maybe it wasn't even the emmy panel I saw it on. I dunno, but yeah, that was kind of cool! Glad you liked!
Cynthia - re: the triangle haha well you made c/c not painful for me to watch with your last vid! I think we need to keep up this habit.
Luka - It is a really great song. And thank you! Best Jack-Kate-Sawyer vidder? I kind of like that title. Well that and "Queen of the Universe" but you take what you can get right? Hahah! I'm so glad you loved, loved, loved it! |

Sorry I didn't get here sooner! Better late than never, I hope?
Anyway, I'm basically going to be echoing what everybody said before me (yet, I'm going to say it anyway because I'm wordy like that ).
I LOVE the coloring on this! The whole Color Curves thing and I have never figured each other out but it's so fantastic to see somebody who has totally mastered it!
Also, I love the way you matched Sawyer, Kate and Jack's actions and similar scenes like that! It brings out so many hidden connections that have never really been highlighted like that! *applause*
I also really like the song for this purpose, it's got a beat yet it's also kinda dark and sinister in a way! Me likey!
Over all, a great job! You've really whupped Vegas in such a short time, especially considering the grief it tried to give you! *more applause and throws flowers* |

That was really good! The lyric interpretation is great, and the "look" of the vid is very cool. _________________ Heather |

Aislynn! - Aw aislynn thanks for the comments! You always leave such thorough responses. I try to leave detailed-ish responses but when I hit the post button they always end up being just one line long. Haha. I fail! But thanks! Regarding me vs. Vegas... I'm so afraid of effects LOL. I used some new stuff in this one which was kind of frightening! I'm moving up in the world!
Heather Thanks a lot!
Trey Thanks again! Wait wha? GOLD!??!? WOO HOO! Yay! I didn't know yet! Haha. Awesome! |
