| you know the theme with the LOST text rotating towards you in space? I want to do it using different text... What program is good for doing that? |

I used a 3d animation program when I wanted to do that. But there might be another way...

I've done it once with Vegas, but it's kinda hard. You write the words you want there and put them in italics with a white shadow, then use the "pan/crop" tool to make it turn around and zoom in, etc.

In Vegas though you won't be able to do it in 3d. We defintely need a tutorial for it if you want to have a go DS or Warren could maybe do one he uses a lot of 3d.

Well, I used Carrara 3d Basics, a program I bought for over $100 at a computer store and I'm not too familiar with any freeware.... doing the text thing on a 3d program apparently takes basic knowledge of how to work in the area and tools. But I don't know. Maybe Warren or someone else knows a way that is much easier and less time-consuming or complicated.
