Did any of you hear about that? They said that the show is to hard to fallow if you were just to watch an episode every now and then.

yah, i know a bunch of people that has tried to pick it up in the middle of season 2, but still, i think it should be nominated because LOST is really really good, and it has at the beggining of most episodes "previously on LOST...".
so it does set you up for that episode u are about to watch...

They do have a point I suppose. My friend watched a few of the first episodes in Season 2, and then the episode aired last night (in the UK it was 'The Hunting Party') She didnt understand who Ana Lucia and why she was there. I tried to explain, but shes stupid.

Well it IS hard to follow. I was a huge X-Files fan, but I will be the first to admit that I was gld whenever it was a "monster" episode and not a conspiracy episode...I never knew what the hell was going on! When they started re-running them on SCIFI, I finally got to see the last few episodes when every character came back and explained the whole thing, A-B. It was mucho helpful.

X-Files? Thats too complicated for me. I can hardly keep up with Lost. What happened to the Polarbears? Whats with the black smoke? And who the bleedin' ell' are The Others? Veronica Mars is easier to follow then Lost, but I dont get it when she solves problems... shes all '...So he went to her house but he didnt really need to go because he had already gone and told her before she died but he went anyway and saw her and Kip came and told him about him not being the killer of Mindy...'

Maybe I made the little dialogue thingie up but its basically what she said...

It did get nominated for 9 emmies but most of them are for behind the scenes work apart from Henry Ian Cusick's guest appearance. I hope he wins!

The no nomination for best show is a real shocker though. The lead actor and actresses titles don't really lend themselves well to a show like Lost even though Fox and Lilly are the most likely candidates I don't think they are the standout acting performances on the show. They should have defintely got some noms for the best supporting with maybe Adewale and Terry in there.

If it helps anone, Jorge Garcia and Michelle Rodriguez won best supporting actor and actress ALMA awards- American Latino Media Arts Council.

I agree with Paul on this one- if they had categories for "Most Intense Look", "Best Glance to a Segway/Flashback", "Best Running" and "Advanced Eye Squinting", LOST would be in great shape! Oh yes and let us not forget season 1- "Best Gorring by a Boar".

If it helps, I HATE awards shows- Oscar is #1 on my "useless pats on the back" shows. They NEVER nominate those who REALLy deserve it...so the fact that LOST didnt get nominated, doesnt mean much to me.

Getting nommed for an Emmy has little to do with the show being highly serial. No show is more serial than 24 and even it got nominated, so that has nothing to do with it.

I for one, felt the show went downhill this past year and it certainly isn't because I can't keep up with it. (Maybe it can't keep up with itself.) I found online this clip from VH1's best week ever, one of the comedians went on this big tangent about how Lost was kind of sucking the past year, it was so hilarious. He was like, "We went from polar bears and smoke monsters to 'Sawyer finds a frog!' A whole episode? What?" Something like that. It was great.

But yeah, I'm not surprised.
