I'm trying to reverse this small clip from the Incident using Sony Vegas 7, but it just goes black when I do. Any ideas? :-/

Lately sony vegas has been running really slow on my pc. its annoying it lags every like 2 min. Sometimes itll be fine but not for long. so i cant get a good preview of what i edit before rendering cause it keeps stalling the vid in the preview. What can i do to make it faster?
