Wow, you really gave yourself a workout, there, Ais! I'm glad you liked it so much!

First of all, I love that you were so absorbed in your Sawyer moments that you had to double post to remember to get this in
Second of all, ...uh until TPTB decide to totally derail my characterization of her, I'm sure... I'm not exactly being a peach when I'm writing her, y'know. _________________ avatar: Plastic!Winchester Theater by anteka @ LJ; icon by me

Awesome as usual. I loved the parts where Sawyer was just looking at everybody at the pool/spa, and how you used all the nicknames he had for people. Also all these alliances are really interesting...it'll really get some fights going when it comes down to only a small group of people. _________________

First of all, Marcus, I just watched your avatar from start to finish for the first time and it's pretty much the funniest thing I've ever seen.
Second, I had so much fun with the nickname thing
Third...yeah, man...sometimes you gotta play dirty. I mean, remember...we're all competing for a million dollar prize. Who the heck wants to get booted from a game where staying the longest means getting mad cash?! _________________ avatar: Plastic!Winchester Theater by anteka @ LJ; icon by me

I didn't make it, I found it on Uncyclopedia...that site's retarted, but they have some funny avatars. Still, whoever made that site has too much time on their hands. _________________

I'm all about this box set thing...I think...
No matter, Marcus, you FOUND it, you USE it, it's yours, as far as I'm concerned
Once again, mad kudos, Ruth for a BANGIN job! I'm glad that I described it well enough that you could get a mental picture to work with! _________________ avatar: Plastic!Winchester Theater by anteka @ LJ; icon by me

Steph!
Actually, I'm only short two votes and those votes don't actually seem to matter much, considering the way the other votes (both LVI and Losties-out-of-a-hat) have come out. So, I'm going to go ahead and assume that the two who haven't voted won't mind too much if I skip them this time around, since, at this point, their votes won't make much of a difference, since majorities have already been reached. That said, here's a little teaser...
Colin approaches Steph in the kitchen, as she makes herself a sandwich. He doesn’t know where everyone else is, but he doesn’t much care. He’ just glad she’s alone.
“Steph,” he says, walking up to her. When she looks up at him, he continues before she can say anything, “Let’s vote together.”
“Okay,” Steph says, raising an eyebrow.
“Tomorrow morning...let’s match our votes.”
“Like,” Steph says, “create an alliance?”
Colin pauses. “Sure,” he says, shrugging.
“Okay,” Steph says. “Sounds like a plan.”
After dinner, Jen seeks out Charlie and Claire. They’re sitting together in the living room playing cards in a corner, undisturbed. Some people have retreated to their sleeping quarters to read or, Jen figures, conspire, while others have gone out to the swimming pool or the hot tub. Without a television or computer anywhere to be found, save for the television in the middle of the room which is for game purposes only, there is little to do to keep one’s self occupied when there isn’t a game in progress.
“Hey guys,” Jen says, sinking down onto the floor beside the table the two of them are using for their discards to be piled.
Charlie looks up at Jen expectantly, setting down his hand. “So?” he asks.
“I’m in,” she says, “but I’ve already made up my mind for this vote, so...can we, you know, start, like, next game?”
“Who are you voting for?” Claire asks.
Jen frowns and looks down.
“Are you voting for one of us?” Charlie asks, raising an eyebrow.
Slowly, Jen looks back up at him. She says nothing.
“It’s me, right?” Claire asks. “See, Charlie, I told you...just sit me out this game and we’ll have a better chance at our team winning.”
Charlie stares at Jen. “You want to join us, but you want to vote Claire out of the next game?”
Jen shrugs a little. “Even she thinks you should, Charlie,” she replies softly, not wanting to come out and admit that she’d pegged Claire from the beginning.
“I think we should sit me out, Charlie,” Claire says, “I really do.”
Charlie looks between them both and sighs heavily. “I think it’s going to show that you’re weak, Claire,” he says.
“Charlie,” Jen says softly, “look at it this way...Claire is maybe a weak player based on one game. But Nikki is dumb as a brick. If we sit Claire out this round, it looks like we’re going to be voting based on the game that took place, that way, when it comes time to vote someone off the game entirely...we can vote Nikki off and she won’t even see it coming.”
Claire looks at Jen and nods, her expression contemplative.
“You think that will work?” Charlie asks.
“I really do,” Jen replies.
“It’s fine with me,” Claire says.
Again, Charlie lets out a sigh, but with the odds against him, he relents. “All right. Claire it is, this time. Just, not when we vote someone out of the game, okay?” he asks, bartering.
Jen nods. “Okay.”
As the night comes to a close, Steph sits down beside Jen in the hot tub. Charlie and Jack are in there, too. Claire has gone to bed and Kate is having a snack at the picnic table, in her bathing suit. The rest of the group is scattered haphazardly between the living room and their sleeping quarters.
“So,” Steph says, “I thought we were gonna drink tonight.” She grins and winks at Jen.
“Yeah,” Jen says, lifting a bottle of beer and taking a sip from it. “I thought so, too, but I think everyone is too busy, like, discussing and thinking over their votes for tomorrow...no one was really interested tonight. I’ll try again tomorrow, I promise.”
Steph nods and leans her head back. She looks over at Jack. “Have you decided who you’re voting for?” she asks casually.
Jack nods. “Yep,” he says. He doesn’t have any intention of telling Steph who he’s voting for, because he’s not sure he trusts her just yet.
“Oh,” Steph says. She wants to talk to Jack alone.
Kate calls out a “good night” to everyone, exchanging a meaningful glance with Jack, and disappears back into the house.
“So,” Jen says loudly, looking away from the way that Steph is trying to get Jack’s attention back. She can tell that Steph wants to have a discussion with him. “Charlie, ready to go in?”
“Actually,” Charlie starts, but grunts in pain when Jen elbows him in the chest. She gives him a look and he furrows his brow, nodding. “Yeah, going in sounds good...”
Jen and Charlie both get out of the hot tub, wrapping their towels around themselves, and head back into the Community Room hut.
“Who are you voting?” Steph asks, finally.
Jack looks over at her but shakes his head. “Secret.”
“Is it me?” Steph asks quickly, horrified at the thought.
Shrugging, Jack looks down. “Secret,” he repeats, looking back up at her.
Steph nods slightly. “That’s how it is?” she asks, forcing a smile.
“For now,” Jack says.
Tucking a piece of hair behind her ear, Steph nods, and starts to stand, feeling as though she’s being dismissed.
“Hey,” Jack says, taking her wrist in his hand and guiding her back down. “You don’t have to go...I just don’t want to talk about the vote tomorrow, is all.”
Steph raises her eyebrows at him. “So, you just want my company, then?” she laughs.
Jack doesn’t even smile. He nods. “That’s precisely what I want.”
It takes a few hours, but Jack lays his head down on his pillow–he’s the last one to go to sleep. He weighs his decision in his head and decides that it’s the right one. After a short discussion with Kate, he feels much better about it than he had when he originally decided it.
While he’s certain that he should be voting off someone else, he just doesn’t want to. It’s not, probably, the right decision, in the best interest of the game, but he hopes that he’s making, at least, a good one. The other three guys on his team seem to have fallen asleep just fine, so apparently they feel confident in their own vote, and his is just a single eighth of the decision, in the end. So, after a long while laying in bed on his back, staring at the ceiling for an answer that never comes, Jack loses his battle with the sleepiness that is overcoming him, and he drifts off. Tomorrow is another day and he’ll say his goodbyes to whomever gets the axe, and he won’t let himself feel guilty if his vote is one toward sending that person home. After all, he tells himself, it’s just a game.
The next morning, everyone is showered and dressed, sitting on the couches and chairs in the middle of the living room, waiting for something to happen, when the television screen comes to life.
“Good morning,” Ben says, looking out at them through the screen. He pauses as if to allow them to wish him the same before continuing.
“On the table in front of me, there is a voting device. When I call your name, please come up to the table and place your vote. When everyone has voted, I will tally them and the name of the person, on the Blue Team, to be sent home will come up on the screen. That person will have twenty minutes to pack their things, say their goodbyes, and make their way to the taxi and I, waiting outside for them.
“Next, the name of the person, from the Red Team, voted to sit out the next Challenge, will show on the screen.
“Finally, a clue for your next Challenge, as well as the time will reveal itself to you all. Transportation will be provided for the next Challenge in the same manner it was provided for the last, and the person voted to sit out will not join you. He or she will remain in the Community Room and will be able to watch the Challenge in real time on this television screen.
“Colin, please come up and place your vote.”
Colin stands slowly and makes his way to the front table, feeling slightly uncomfortable with all eyes on him as he picks up the voting device and looks down at it. On the small screen of what looks similar to a graphing calculator, he sees the names of all his teammates, including himself, and each is numbered. He presses the number six key and sets the device back down on the table, then turns and walks back to the couch, taking a seat again.
Ben makes his way though the whole group, calling each of the Blue Team members one by one to make their vote. Without even allowing so much as a short pause, he begins calling members of the Red Team to make their votes.
When everyone is finished, they all sit in an awkward silence, waiting for the results. No one speaks as the television screen goes blank for Ben to tally the votes, and no one looks at anyone else, with the exception of Sawyer, who is looking at Aislynn, hoping she’ll look up at him so that he can gauge her face to see if she has held up her side of the bargain to vote Charlie to sit out the next game.
The screen lights up again as Ben’s face fills it. “The votes have been tallied. Here are your results...” _________________ avatar: Plastic!Winchester Theater by anteka @ LJ; icon by me

I'm really glad you like it Colin! I'm REALLY really glad that you feel like you're really on a Reality Show (that's a lot of "real"ness), because that's pretty much the whole point.
I'll write more later, but until then:
LVIers, consider this your 24-hour notice if you want to change your vote. If the votes change and the outcome is thus changed, I will continue to wait for the two left-over votes. _________________ avatar: Plastic!Winchester Theater by anteka @ LJ; icon by me
