...yeah...it's just that the first season flew by for me and the second season seemed to be going nowhere until well into the season. To be honest, I never even got into it until right around 2x10, but I was still watching mostly out of habit. Even 2x06 didn't really catch my attention so much as make me mad I'm just hoping that season three doesn't annoy me as much as the beginning of season two did.

Pretty sure the plumber fixing Juliet's house was Ethan from the voice and when you see him he has dirty clothes like he was doing hard labor. Maybe he was with Juliet?

That ep was amazing in my opinion. LOVED the opener, loved how this had NOTHING to do with the beach people (yet) and liked how Jack's flashbacks at least went by quickly. lol. That was so awesome that they're in a zoo . I just love Lost when it's full of clues to the overall plot like this, it makes me feel so... hopeful.

Overall, I am very pleased with this ep. Aside from cutting the flashbacks, or making them flashes to the Other's side like they did the opener, I'd say this was the best opener Lost could have for this season. Now, don't get me wrong, I would have liked a huge buildup to some big super-duper revelation like Walkabout or whatever, which would earn this one of the *Overall Awesome Ep* awards but I say this is the best *Opener* possible because it couldn't really do that! It has tp bring us in wanting more from the rest of the season, and entice us. Yet somehow, it also managed to make this ep at least slightly emotional and answer a few questions. I actually do like Jack flashbacks better than some, because at least they have some feeling to them lol.

This ep really backed up my crazy theory a bit more too . I am convinced the others are out to hook kate up with one of the other guys and take the baby if she gets pregnant. Yep, far out and disturbing, but if I'm right I will laugh so hard .

That's actually not a half bad theory I hope that's not the outcome, but still it's possible.

OMG!! What gives with Jack's flashbacks sucking lately!? The last good one for me was "Man of Science, Man of Faith" a whole season ago!!
At least we get a whole new story for his flashbacks now...hopefully

Goodwin and Ethan!! I wish they had more airtime...but they're dead...The beginning was really cool.

Anyone else actually liking the idea of Jack and Juliet? Maybe like Romeo & Juliet and one or both will die for love, haha, I should so be a writer for Lost ...that's a joke folks. I'm saying that cause I like Skate, but....

Next episode looks 10x better, good thing is that the Big 3 (Jack, Sawyer, Kate) are going to be in it still.

i don't like the julie girl but thats just me. to tell the truth i'm kind of stuck on whether i want Sawyer to be with Kate or Jack to be with Kate. This episode has pushed me more toward Sawyer cuz it was soo sweet how he made her laugh and gave her his food. but then again i've always been a jater so i dunno.

Jack's Flashbacks were pretty boring. I kept hoping they would be short so we could see more of them on the island but hopefully next episode we see alot more of whats goin on. Wondering what kind of Harsh conditions sawyer and kate are gonna have towork in.

it also seems to me that some of the clips from the "in two weeks" promo won't be shown at all. like the one of kate covering her eyes while she walking w/ mr. friendly.

i agree with the fact that the commercials seemed extremely loong and they were annoying as hell. i wish Lost was actually a real fuull hour but unfortunately that does not happen

ne way the next episode does look really good. i can't wait!!

Biggest question of this ep posed: who was that other prisoner who tried to escape with Sawyer? That's pretty big, I would say.... someone else besides the others... hmmm.... a third group...

That may be why I liked this ep so much more than some of you guys. I have a PVR no commercials!! (and yeah, this thing had a LOT fo them ever 5 freaking minutes...

The repo man thing was pretty funny. i wonder how the "others" got all that info on jack and everyone else. Jack does have ALOT more to cover in his flashbacks. lets hope they get a lil more interesting. but don't get me wrong i love jack, just not his flashbacks the only persons flashbacks i really like are kate's ne way.

and i am also really interested in finding out who Karl is. they sure did a number on him when they caught him. poor guy. i wonder where they took him.

The Other's purpose for taking the three of them still isn't clear. it would be real weird if their sole purpose was to get kate to have sex with sawyer or jack.

this lil 6 episode block i can tell is goin to be a good one!!!

I've been wanting that flashback since they teased it during the poker game Oooo, that's right, we better find out why Locke was in the wheelchair this season, cause if they drag his flashbacks out like Jack/Sara, then I'll Kill myslef.

Awesome start to the season!!! The beginning freaked me out...loved the Skate scenes...Henry's waaay creepy still...I actually liked the flashbacks, and I'm glad Sarah didn't fool around with Christian, that would've just been gross, lol...how the hell did Juliet know all that stuff about Jack??

Can't WAIT til next week!!!

i'd have to say my fav scene of the entire eppy had to be when sawyer finally figured out how to get food and then he sees kate. it was great.

Haha these theories are great but, if they wanted Kate to have sex with someone, wouldn't they just set them up a nice suite or something with flowers and ambiance and wait a little while? (since they apparently have unlimited resources, tell me again on how there's a paper trail to happiness?)

Like some others, I'm dying to know a little more about Karl and where the heck he came from...

Also, on a side note, I'm still not entirely convinced that Sarah wasn't fooling around with Christian...the guy Jack saw her with after she bailed him out of jail looked different than the first guy, to me, anyway, so maybe she's just a little...erm...permiscuous? (yeah shut up if my spelling is awful, I like it that way )

Dharma fish biscuits -- the Skate food of love! Awwww, that was the sweetest scene! Just wish they'd put them together in the same cage, of course...

Besides all of the Sawyer scenes ("How many of 'em were there?" ), my fav scenes were seeing "Otherville" (Ethan! Goodwin! ETHAN!!! ) and that awesome shot of the plane breaking up in mid-air. Coooooooool!

As for how it compared to the S1 and S2 openers... IMO, S1 is first just because it was what hooked me and set this whole crazy, wonderful beast in motion. S2 comes in third because -- you guessed it -- no Sawyer. So I'd put S3 firmly in second place (Sawyer! Ethan! Skate fish biscuits! ).

I missed seeing the Hatch and the other Losties but hopefully they won't pull the same trick as last year and give us 3 eps of this same ep, just from different camera angles... I can be patient for a bit longer (especially since they promised us some things I won't name here because of it being spoilers... ).
