Lol do you really think that the point of this video was to have a sexy woman barely clothed and acting like a slut? Hell no, i was looking at the ninja cowboys with laserguns!!!!!!! They only put the girl in for more comedy! How could you possibly take that video seriously?

I can't imagine taking a Muse video seriously. I think they wanted it to be weird and silly. It has a futuristic (the Statue of Liberty in the sand, laser guns)/backward (the whole cowboy lifestyle) thing going on. Plus, the whole lipsyncing "No one's gonna take me alive" seems too silly to be taken seriously. And the beginning, as well ... with all the "moves." I think they just added the girl in there to parody all the cowboy movies.
DS, when I first saw that vid, I was like "WTF?" But, then, honestly, it grew on me. The main thing to keep it mind is that it's SUPPOSED to be ridiculously silly.
(Why am I always defending Ed when it comes to Muse?!   )

9 for the song and the vid. That vid was cool - my favourite of those in this thread so far (the flying thing was neat  ). And Evanescence always promises a fairly-good song.

Well, that's... uhm - interesting, Warren.
The vid is pretty good, considering it was done about 20 years ago. Still can't believe I'm younger than that video. Cool though!
About the music: I totally like it, actually.  I'm a lot of pop in my heart *cough* Bodies Without Organs *cough* and listening to this makes me want to have lived all those happy years ago... well, nough said; 8.7

Anyway, it's great and I give it a 9.5 I do actually have a t.A.T.u version that is pretty good as a single.
Now guys, to one of the most beautiful swedish songs ever. It's swedish, but you can still enjoy the music. First bit of the chorus says, "You can do whatever you want, but never betray the one who lives right by your soul."
And his name is Patrik Isaksson, not the other way around

Yep, this is the original Morrissey/the Smiths version! I used the t.A.T.u. version for my "How Soon Is Now" vid. |
