Does anyone else ever find the "real" music vids for some songs really... boring? They never use the beat at all, it's starting to bug me.

8 for Mr. Brightside. But that vid wasn't by the Killers. THANK GOD. I was beginning to think that huge band didn't have anywhere near a decent budget and the lead singer was only 17 years old...........

I love Hysteria. I think it's definitely among one of their best.

9.5 .... Mr. Brightside is great. I can't believe I haven't gotten annoyed by it yet.

YES!!! A lot of real music videos are either:
A) Really boring (i.e. Have no storyline)
B) Horribly paced with the rhythm of the song
C) Just plain weird.

I much rather prefer fan-made vids sometimes. The cost less to make and outcome is much more entertaining.

Seems you got to Hobbes' song before me. I give yours a solid 9.5 as well because I keep imagining SNL when I hear this. I also used this song for a class once.

I definitely agree with you. I am in love with Showbiz (mainly due to Sophie's awesome video), so I checked out samples from the album on amazon the other night.......the album really sucked, except for that one song. Well, a couple of them were all right.

I'll give a 9 for the song and a 7.2 for the video. I mean come on, why do they always have to include some impossibly sexy woman barely clothed and acting like a slut in every single modern music video for a rock band?? It sucks. I hate conventional music video making, so slimy and corporate.
