I loooooove that bit with Catherine and David! ZOMG, his real accent just melts me! *melts*  They have such great chemistry together, don't they? I'm with you, I'll ALWAYS be a Rose fangirl and I'll always ship her with the Doctor (Nine/Rose is just the ultimate ship in my eyes! I wasn't big on Ten/Rose but I want to go back soon and watch s2 again and give it another chance  ), but I just love Donna to pieces!  I totally *SQUEED* over that bit in the trailer for the reason I mentioned. Donna is just so amazing and awesome! |

Did anyone watch the last episode? It wasn't really as good as the previous one, but I loved the idea of the story taking place in a huge library. It gave the whole episode such a dark, creepy atmosphere. 
What do you guys think who that woman is? I hope she isn't the Doctor's new companion. Meh, I didn't like her.  I'm also very, very worried about Donna. There were so many hints on the show so far that she might die and I don't want her to die!!!  Please no!!!

I know! I'm really worried for Donna. Especially the way that woman was all "YOU'RE Donna? Donna Noble?" eek! 
I quite liked it, but yeah not as good as last weeks. I also loved that it was in a Library, and it did give off a dark and creepy atmosphere.
Is it wrong that i'm watching every episode, obviously for the plots but also because I want another Rose referance? LOL.

Not at all!! I'm with you here! I do enjoy Ten & Donna, I really do, but my fangirl and shipper heart is begging for any new sign of Rose

Wow, there's some serious fandom w@nk (not an American bad word but censored 'cause Jemma told me that it's an English one ) going on right now about the timing of this two-parter, particularly since they're kinda kicking off Stephan Moffat's "reign" as head-writer. I'll assume if you're reading this that you've seen "Silence in the Library" and "Forest of the Dead" but I'll spoiler any speculation etc for future eps.
I agree the timing of this ep was sorta strange. Why did they pick right now to introduce a new character with whom they're HIGHLY suggesting is either the Doctor's future wife or Very Good Friend right here as we're thisclose to getting Rose back? Plus this is supposed to be Donna's season, after all, and not only is she "sharing" with Rose (which most people don't have an argument with, since, well, it's ROSE! ) but now this new character kinda stepped up and took some of the spotlight off Donna, while throwing all sorts of ugly foreshadowing at her in the process? *clings to Donna*
[Warning: Donna fangirl opinion is about to commence ] I mean, for cryin' out loud, if you're not going to put Ten with Rose, then Donna should get the next shot, shouldn't she???
All that said, I did enjoy both of the eps, I didn't think they were the total train-wreck that some of the fandom felt they were. And I did find River's death kinda sad as it was happening, with her clearly desperate to not only save his life now but to keep him from changing her past/his future to where they were never together (however they were together... Hey, maybe they were just tennis playing partners! [/end Rose fangirl]).
Donna spoilers and speculation:
[spoiler:53d2d3cb7a] Since Catherine Tate is only signed on for this one series, then clearly something is going to happen to Donna to keep her from traveling with the Doctor any longer. I have my fingers crossed that it'll be something that leaves her with a happy ending of sorts, like she finds that Lee guy again and they can go off and live happily ever after.
But I'm more afraid that she'll fall into the pattern they've started establishing this season of people sacrificing themselves to save the Doctor. I mean, how bad will that suck? Not only will it send us back to Dark!Emo-land like he was in after losing Rose but it'll be a terrible ending to the much more happy, joyous feel of this season! [/spoiler:53d2d3cb7a]
Ten/Rose spoilers and speculation:
[spoiler:53d2d3cb7a]There's still no word on exactly HOW this whole thing with Ten and Rose will go down but one thing is certain, Billie Piper is NOT coming back as Rose full time again, so you know she CAN'T stay with the Doctor in our universe or he with her in Pete's World. BUT!
I read in one of the LiveJournal comms that David Tennant was filming some scenes presumably for the finale in both his blue suit and his brown, which, as you know, he doesn't usually swap back and forth in the same ep. So here was what they were thinking (or should I say *fangirl hoping* ). What if something happens to the Doctor and instead of him regenerating, he gets split in two/cloned/whatever? Then one Doctor could go back to Pete's World with Rose, giving them their happy ending together ♥! ♥! ♥! and the other Doctor would stay in "our" world and continue on with the show?
Next to finding out that Rose has been living happily ever after with the Pete's World version of Nine (special guest-star Christopher Eccleston! *Ninegirls faint for a week from the shock*  ), then that would be about the most perfect ending for Rose that I could imagine! [/spoiler:53d2d3cb7a]
I'm torn between wanting the finale to hurry up and get here and in wanting it to slow down a bit since it's going to be soooooooooo long before we get another full season! (We've got the Christmas special, then 4 specials in 2009 but no actual series, then series 5 comes back with 13 eps in 2010! ) |

Yeah, I did enjoy the 2 episode, but I thought they were oddly placed, because now the whole question lurking is how did she know him, and how does she know his real name.

AHHHHHH OMG OMG! SUCH A GOOD EPISODE!
One of the best this series! I think it's the 2nd best, after 4x01!
Anyone else notice another Rose-on-the-screen again? Or did you blink and miss it? It was on there for quite long. I was like TURN AROUND!!!!!!!!!
I LOVED the whole everything they said she said thing. So smart.
NEXT WEEKS!

I'm gonna be at my dad's but i'm SO not missing it for anything. It's gonna be MINDBLOWING. And emotional I think.
