This week's episode wasn't as good as last week's, but I still enjoyed it! I liked seeing Ruby having to deal with the wolf again now that the curse is broken. And I liked that we found out how she learned to control the wolf in the first place!

I'm really proud of David, too. He's really taking charge of the town and doing a great job of it, too. I like that he's still thinking about the things he did last season and trying to make up for them.

Spoiler tags, just in case, because I'm going to talk about the promo for 2x08:
[spoiler:d724a3bab4]I'm so disappointed that we have to wait two weeks for the next episode! It looks so good! I'm really excited to see Henry and Aurora play such a big role! I totally called that their dreams would be a way for everyone in Storybrooke to communicate with those in Fairy-Tale Land. I'm so eager to see how this plays out.

And Henry in the promo! "I'm done reading about heroes. I want to be one." WHAT A GREAT KID!!![/spoiler:d724a3bab4]

The last episode was alright, but I was hoping it'd be more like Red Handed. Red Handed was one of the best episodes, and this one just didn't live up to it.

It was neat to meet Red's mother. I did not see that coming that Anita was her mom. I thought it was an interesting and unexpected twist that in order to save Snow, she had to kill Anita. I think that gave us some real insight into Red/Ruby's inner turmoil and also her close bond with Snow.

I thought David really stepped up this week. He did a good job of helping Ruby come to terms with herself and who she is. Each week he seems to be regaining more of his Prince Charming qualities.

One thing I don't understand is that we saw King George burn the hat, therefore he supposedly ruined the use of the hat as a portal. But Emma's wardrobe was burned and Cora gathered up the ashes because she believes she can still use those ashes to create a portal. Why can't the ashes of the hat be used in the same way?

I am really looking forward to tonights episode. From the promo and sneak peeks it looks really good. I love that Henry is playing an important role in getting Emma and Snow back or at least communicating with them.

Well I think one of the main problems with that is that the hat is in Storybrooke, and while there is magic there, as we've seen before, magic is much different there than it is in FTL.

So maybe whatever Cora had planned for the wardrobe ashes wouldn't work with the magic is in SB, or maybe the hat isn't powerful enough to do what the wardrobe ashes can?

I really liked the last episode, it wasn't my favorite of the season, but I thought we learned a lot of really important things.

I am super excited about tonight's episode. It looks amazing!

I read an interesting and slightly spoilery bit of information, so I spoiler tagged it encase any of you guys wanted to read it too!

[spoiler:58ff6487a2]

Also, I just read the new TV Guide interview with Adam and Eddie, and they pretty much confirmed that Jamie Dornan will return at some point by the end of the season. Jamie even tweeted about it! So I'm super excited about that too.

I hope he is able to recover quickly from his shoulder surgery, since that's basically all that they are waiting for now. [/spoiler:58ff6487a2]

I really liked tonight's episode, Tiny. I was a little worried how they'd handle the Giant, but I thought it was pretty good. I really enjoyed learning Anton the Giant's backstory. I thought the twist about who Jack is, was very clever. I especially liked that Anton is a good giant. It would be hard to see Jorge play a villian. I hope we'll see more of him.

Loved all the Lost shout-outs. I thought it was funny that Ruby gave Belle 'The Mysterious Island' by Jules Verne, since we Losties remember Claire and that other mysterious island.

Also loved that Emma, Gold, and Henry were flying Ajira. I could hardly pay attention to the scenes at the airport, I was too busy looking for Oceanic and Ajira signs. Plus, the flight was 42 minutes long.

When Ruby came to see Belle at the hospital, you could hear the tv. Does anyone know if that was Damon Lindelof's voice? I know he was the voice delivering the weather in a season 1 episode.

Looking forward to next week's episode.

Just wanted to let my fellow Once fans know that Titan magazine is releasing two special Once magazines (issues). This is the same company that did the Official Lost magazines back in the day. The first issue is out now and the second one comes out this summer. I am hoping that if they get a good enough response to these issues they'll think of tuning it into a full run magazine.

Here is a link to an article about it:

Just wanted to say this past Sunday's episode was my favorite of the series so far. I had goosebumps! So awesome! (Great Lost nod, too!)

This episode is definitely one of my favorites overall.

I loved that Storybrooke existed in this kind of Groundhog Day loop. It was neat that Mary Margaret changed slightly with each loop. (She didn't run into Regina, then she ran into Regina, then she ran into Regina again but different items in hand and a hat.)

I liked the idea that Regina invented this place so she could win and have a happy ending, but in the end it became boring to her and almost a prison.

It was nice to have them finally show us why no one seemed to realize they didn't age and why they didn't question how long they'd known each other. Since the same day always repeated, they just didn't catch on.

I also enjoyed finding out what made Regina want a child. I liked that it was for pure intentions. She just enjoyed having a child in her life and being motherly. I think it also offered her something ever-changing in the repetitive world she'd created.

It was great seeing Graham this week.

I look forward to seeing August's return next week.

Really disappointed with the way they wrote August out. Of all the sloppy ways to get rid of a character.... And this isn't even a chance for August to really redeem himself, they just erased him and gave him a do-over. Not the same thing. Which sucks. I'd almost rather he'd just died..... I always loved August and I was hoping they'd do better by him.

On the plus side, I'm so excited about the promo!!!

What happened to August was so bittersweet. I loved August too. He was one of my favorites, right up there with the Charming family.

I am glad August is still alive. I would have been really mad at them if they would have killed him off.

I really hoped he'd get a chance at redemption and not just a reset. He so wanted to change his ways at the end and in someways he won't get that chance.

I am glad we finally got a Gepetto/ August reunion. And I am glad they can be a family and Gepetto can sort of make up for lost time with his son.
But I will really miss grown up August. I hope we'll still see him in flashbacks.

When he got in the car and was leaving, I expected that would be the last of him. I thought maybe a season or two from now August would resurface and come to help Emma save Storybrooke.

He was the writer, so I always wanted to see him get out his typewriter and through some kind of magic, write the way the final battle would go down. I wanted him to be able to write the ending to all their stories that they deserved and have his words play out.

I'm going to miss August.

I have mixed feelings about August, too. On the one hand, I would have been said if they'd killed him and I did like that Gepetto gets back the time he lost with him when he got sent to Storybrooke with baby Emma. On the other hand, I really really really adored August.

Definitely looking forward to next week and ESPECIALLY looking forward to the last two episodes after sneaking a peek at the titles. Woot!

I WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE TOM ELLIS AS ROBIN HOOD! It was such a surprise! I didn't even know he was doing US television. And I didn't think it was possible he could be any hotter...

As for the show itself, I am officially done taking it seriously =P Season two started off better than season one, now it's just rapidly gone downhill imo.

Haha! I was watching it in bed and I literally leapt to being sat up with excitement! I think I remember him mentioning he was doing some stuff in the US on This Morning a few months back, but it was in the 'can't talk' stage. I'd forgotten all about it though, it was such a happy surprise! And I know, right?!

Eugh, I know, I've been disappointed with this season too I used to watch the episodes as soon as I could get my hands on them, but now I've lost the excitement. It can get days before I bother to get round to it.

I don't think all these stupid breaks are helping. I wish US channels would just make their minds up. Either have it on, or don't. Don't show a few episodes weekly, then have a break for a couple of weeks, a few more episodes, another huge break, and then finish up the season! I end up not knowing whether I'm coming or going! /partly unrelated rant

Yeah, I really don't understand their networks and all these breaks. I really don't. Revolution was off for nearly 3 months. I stopped caring between that time, it's just silly

I still love the show, but I still like season 1 best. I've liked the second half of this season better mainly because I felt the first part dragged a bit with spending so many episodes in Fairytale Land present.(Though there were some great episodes and some great moments with that part of the season.) For me it's still a must-see show.Though I do typically watch it a day late. (I'm a long time Amazing Race fan, so Once gets bumped so I can watch it.)

The long breaks that the networks take has been getting worse. My favorite shows used to just be off for a week or two at the most and then come back for a good long run. Usually they'd take a break so they could have all new episodes for sweeps. The reason for a lot of the early breaks this year has been that they won't play our shows against award shows or major sporting events. Rather than try to compete for ratings, the networks just give up for the week and let that event win. Those are the sort of breaks I find annoying. Also ABC has a history of playing scheduling games. They've killed more than a few shows by moving time slots and sending them on prolonged breaks (Men in Trees, for example.)

I don't mind a small break like during the holidays, but this year has been really bad. All the shows I watch have been pulling this erratic scheduling. I'd rather they take a month off and play all the new episodes in a row than take a week off, play an episode, take two weeks off, play an episode, etc.

I almost wish Once would do like Lost and just air one season instead of airing fall/spring. I would miss it being off air for 8 months but something needs to change. They killed the momentum this year and in order for the show to be more successful it needs that momentum. From what I've been reading it sounds like Eddy and Adam realize the show has suffered from it's wild scheduling. I hope they amend it for the future.
And really it isn't just Once, I could name a handful of other shows that need to do this as well.

I'm hoping the next episode, The Evil Queen, is as good as the sneak peeks make it look.
[spoiler:eac73e88ee]The Regina/Henry scene where she talks about more or less destroying Storybrooke and taking Henry to Fairytale Land has me especially intrigued.[/spoiler:eac73e88ee]
