Jem, I'm watching Law and Order SVU and Milo Ventimiglia is in an episode called "Escape". In one scene he talks about his "little brother", he's upset/emotional at the time and says something like "she didn't want you messing with my little brother the way you messed with me". I don't know if that would help with your Heroes OC vidding, but thought I'd mention it.

Oh my gosh, how did I miss this thread?!

Can I just say, all the OC love is AWESOME!!!

I made an OC 16 years ago for a 90's TV show called SeaQuest, and I still write her to this day! In fact, one of my best friends and I have a whole AU series that she's a character in.

I would go into detail but no one would know what I was talking about anyway. Heheh!

OCs are so aweome, though! I'd love to do a Lost OC but I don't know what I'd do.

I'm having fun reading through this thread, though, and it looks like I have some new OC stories to go read.

So, SQ was an early 90's show that took place in the near "future", which is now just 7 years away! XD It took place on a Naval submarine that was cross-purposed as a scientific research sub, which also occasinally did rescue and diplomatic missions.

My OC was just 16/17 when I started. She went to live on SQ with her godmother who is SQ's Chief Scientist. She falls in love with SQ's resident boy genius, Lucas, and they're together a couple years. But eventually she falls in love with SQ's sonar operator, Miguel Ortiz. Eventually my friend and I moved our couples (hers is canon) off SQ and into an AU setting which is kind of related to SQ indirectly, but is civilian and on land, allowing them to be all domestic-like. Now they're married and have teenagers and we write more about the teens than the couples. It's so much fun!

What's funny is I had never heard of any of these actresses when I cast them in summer 2009. My friend has a little boy so she watches lots of kids TV and she put me onto Miranda Cosgrove and Victoria Justice. Then I found Selena Gomez, and she suggested Nina Dobrev to me after seeing a preview for CW's then new and upcoming show, VD!!! Now I've seen them all in their shows. They're all such cuties!

Aw, that is SO cool, Julia! I had a similar thing with my Lost OC going at one point....I was sad that Boone died and she and Boone couldn't be together anyway bc she's too young, so I wrote a spinoff involving both of them getting off the island and dating once Michayla was in college. But anywho. It didn't get quite as intricate as yours seems to be. So awesome.

I thought if everyone's cool with it, if Eryn wants to she can put it in the OP so people can go by fandom to see what there is. I mean, even if the author hasn't shared any links or whatever, it's still cool to be able to see what's out there.

I'm almost done with it! I just need to do a little organizing and run back through the thread once more to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I also thought I might make some graphics for the sub-sections, cuz I'm cool like that. XD

Once I get it posted, please everyone let me know if you see any errors that need to be fixed.

Then, just keep posting as normal and I will go through the thread periodically and update the master list.
