I changed my mind on my casting for my other Leverage OC... So now my Leverage OCs are Eliza Dushku as Avery and Jennifer Lawrence as Olivia. FINAL ANSWER, I SWEAR.

I need casting help. Does anyone know of a woman who is kidnapped or held at gunpoint/tortured or something? Even better if she's with a teenage child. She should be like around her 40s, a little younger/older shouldn't matter too much.

I'm trying to cast the mother for Lucas (and my OC) in Terra Nova and her death is very specific - she and Lucas were kidnapped in Somalia and she was tortured and killed. If I ever vidded for my OC (or even Lucas) I thought it would be good to hint towards her death a bit. If there's also happy scenes of her with a young boy even better.

The first that comes to mind is Kristin Kreuk, she was kidnapped and tortured in a scene from Smallville, but I don't know if that's too far out of your age range, she's sort of mid-twenties I think in that scene.

Supernatural also springs to mind, there are plenty of scenes of Sam and Dean torturing demons, but again the females are usually quite young. It's difficult I think because once an actress hits thirty she generally gets given mother roles that don't involve torture or any kind of adventure really :p

Oh, there is a scene from season 3 (I think) of True Blood where Pam gets tortured but I don't remember it well, it might be obvious that she's a vampire.

Those are all I can think of right now... if anyone springs to mind I'll let you know

Here are some movies that could work. Some are old, though. Most have teen girls but some have teen boys, too, I think. Thought I'd throw them out there just in case.

Panic Room w/Jodie Foster - a woman and her teenage daughter become imprisoned in the panic room of their own house by 3 criminals. (2002)

Desperate Hours w/Mimi Rogers - an escaped con on the run from the law moves into a married couple's home and takes over their lives. (1990, so it's old but Mimi Rogers was 34 at the time)

Funny Games w/Naomi Watts - two psychopathic young men take a family hostage in their cabin (2007)

Shattered w/Maria Bello - a perfect family's dynamic is ruined by a kidnapper's brutally efficient plot. (2007)

The Strangers w/Liv Tyler - a young couple staying in an isolated vacation home are terrorized by three unknown assailants. (2008)
