Yup, like i already said:
| SawyerLittleton wrote: | And i can kinda understand Sawyer for doing the opposite of Jack because last time Jack asked Sawyer to trust him, the love of his life died. I also think that i can't blame him for leaving Claire behind.
I totally blame him for last ep when he left her behind in cold blood but this time he had a reason. Or so he thought. He didn't want MiB to get close to his friends. He was even shouting out for Claire this time..
Also he was doing his best to help Jin saving Sun.
I'm mad at him but i do not hate him. :/ So don't worry Ais, the fandom wont hate Sawyer. They'll just be mad at him for 1,2 days I guess.
But then most of the fandom never cared for Sun,Jin and Sayid so maybe he'll still be praised. |

I get he didn't want to listen to Jack about the bomb because of Juliet.
But you don't just yank wires out like that. It was stupid. |

Jack, in letting Locke shove a damn bomb into his backpack and carry it aboard the sub without, you know, questioning things (especially when his game plan was I will question/distrust Locke) and Sawyer, for just going, 'Screw this' and pulling out the wires. So, at least to me, it's not as damning as it might be, because I think multiple characters share the blame for what happened, in roughly proportionate shares. |
mm i dont think hes in any way as "culpable" tho. it wasnt his plan to leave on the sub. he didnt know flocke was putting explosives in obv and he didnt have time to queston anything when kate was shot out of nowhere.
i love sawyer too but theres no need to use jack to take away from anything sawyer did. |

His instincts were just as off as Sawyer's were, though. He screwed up just as grandly. If you don't trust a guy, you don't let him put a backpack on you that you haven't checked. It's like leaving your drink alone in a crowded bar, while you use the bathroom. You just don't do it, because some shady guy could slip you something, however technically unlikely it might be. You're suspicious, and that's why you're safe.
Jack should have been suspicious like that about Locke, but he was a lemming, and so he bears responsibility for not thinking. It's not 'unknowing' when you're that stupid. If he had time to talk with Locke walking up the dock, then he had time to check to make sure he wasn't the Trojan horse. It wasn't 'unknowing.' It was 'unthinking.' It was negligent. It was willfully stupid and reckless--just like Sawyer's actions were willfully stupid and reckless. Neither wins. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. What Sawyer did is worse then Jack.
He pulled wires out of a bomb.
Jack brought it on board, but Sawyer had to prove Jack wrong and pull the wires out.
I have to blame Sawyer more on this than Jack.
Sawyer has no knowledge of bombs whatsoever, so there for he shouldn't have messed with it at all. |

Gorge's crying didn't move me like it did Evi/Matthew.
I just felt it was fake. But that's just me.
It reminded me of my friend who fake cries all the time. |

Yeah Hurleys cry was strange but the tears were so real and sad!
and kudos to Matt and Evie. As i said some pages ago, they all really delivered that scene and i'm thankful to Darlton that Jin,Sun and (probably) Sayid got a scene where their friends grieve. _________________ |

I was so proud of Sayid this episode. I knew he was in there deep down!
Jacks tears are contagious. He cried in Party of Five...
I am a seldom fan who loves his crying. |

The guy who has spent the past couple of years having his life screwed with at the whims of various other, shadier people should have thought of it. The guy whose game plan was I don't trust Locke. I am going to stop him should have thought of it. The guy who spent much of his time on the island watching stuff blow up, and very often at Locke's hands should have thought of it.
We wouldn't think of it, but Jack should have--but not just him. Any character who'd been in contact with Flocke for more than five seconds should have thought of it. By allowing himself to be snowed by Locke, Jack created the problem that Sawyer worsened. We know Sawyer does reckless things that very often don't end well, which he did here. But if Jack is The Hero, then he shouldn't have been that blind. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Yeah you can't use Jack to show what Sawyer did wasn't wrong.
Sure, Jack brought on the backpack but he honestly thought Locke was going with them.
It's just like everyone else, everyone under pressure messes up. It shows our human qualities.
But my blame is with Flocke and Sawyer on this one, Sawyer knew better then to pull wires out of a freakin' bomb like that.
Jack was right, Sawyer was wrong. Jack was UPSET that he brought that bomb on there, but he was handling it better than Sawyer was. |

Brooke: Not trying to start a fight, but I'll note that I never said that Jack's actions automatically validated Sawyer's. I've been careful to point out that both were wrong--and in my book, equally. So that's a moot point. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.
