I watch the occasional Dexter's Lab and/or Powerpuff Girls, because I still find them pretty clever. The Powerpuff Girls episode tonight, 'Members Only,' about an all-male superhero society, had a character, 'Mascumax,' who challenges the superhero society as basically the most macho thing on the planet. (With jokes about measuring sticks and whatnot... see what I mean about the fairly sly humor? Take another look at the title of the episode.)

Anyway, Mascumax is voiced by Clancy Brown, aka Kelvin Inman. He does a pretty convincingly over-the-top job at it, too!

(And yes, I'm still snickering.)

was watching Spiderman 2 last night and I totally got over excited when Daniel Dae Kim appeared as Doctor Octavian's assisstant dude. I saw him and I was like, "is that Daniel Dae Kim?" then I saw him again and I was like "OH MY GOD IT'S JIN!"

I am not actually watching this; it's what was on the channel after my TiVo finished: Terry O'Quinn is starring in My Stepson, My Lover, from 1997, playing right now on Lifetime Movie Channel (I record the odd terrible Lifetime movie to mock it.) Fortunately for my sanity, Terry is not playing the stepson/lover.

LOL Wow, Kate. That title alone makes me sure that I don't want to watch it. Or at least that it's worthy of the mockery. xD

I'm watching Away We Go now and Allison Janney is in it. She's in a bunch of the trailer, but I didn't know her from Lost back then.

Turn it on for three seconds, though. I am actually fascinated by the other two lead actors (O'Quinn is playing Stepdad):

* Stepmom looks like Evangeline Lilly.
* Stepson looks like Ian Somerhalder (but just died by falling down a cliff).

I am not making this up. They are not the other two actors, of course, but the resemblance is disturbing.

(Dammit, it just ended!)

I'm watching a movie called Experiment and it has Maggie Grace and Fisher Stevens in it. I forgot MG was in it when I rented it, I just remembered that I had been meaning to grab it at the video store.

(Haven't found anyone recently. But I was reading a review of Rubicon, which I watch, and they compared the spy characters' head boss (sketchy, playing both sides) as seeming like Ben Linus. So, uh, does that kind of count? (Not really.))

Sam Anderson (Bernard) in episode 20 of Nowhere Man ("Through a Lens, Darkly.") He plays the cold and clinical villain of the episode--and does a good job at it, too! He didn't look any younger 15 years ago, though.

I watched Remember Me with Emilie de Ravin last night (with her in I meant... we didn't watch it together, obvs ) - IT MADE ME BAWL LIKE A NEWBORN BABY. CUE GIF OF MIB CRYING WHEN HE WAS BORN. Eryn, Elyse and Amy can vouch for how depressed I was after.

Ahh, Remember Me.....SUCH a good movie, but it's SO sad. I wanna watch it again. I really loved it despite the sad ending.

Harold Perrineau and Kiele Sanchez are in the 30 Days of Night sequel. They're both main characters. "Nikki" is the main character of the story and "Michael" is in her group of vampire fighting friends. lol
