I tried to watch that movie, just 'cos he was in it, but it was SO boring. I switched it off.
I know for a fact I've said it before in this thread, but I keep forgetting that Alan Dale was in an episode of Torchwood whenever I watch the episode, I'm like, "oh yeahhh, Widdy's in this one!" |
What?! The Dark Knight is boring I think you're possibly watching the wrong film.
AH Stupid Alan Dale. I think the reason I hate Widmore is because HE KILLED OWEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________

It was just full of explosions and Heath Ledger & Batman giving each other evils. I couldn't even follow what Nestor was up to
Alan Dale is brilliant at being evil _________________

I saw the trailer for Trauma next week and John Terry AKA Christian, plays a doctor to one of the people on the show, and he 'freezes in there'. TOTALLY reminded me of Christian off the island on Lost.
The girl (Daughter) says "You froze in here" (Something along those lines) and he replies "You're right, we can't work together".
It reminded me of Jack VS Christian. |

I just watched episode 6 where he first came in it. [spoiler:07ccbaf6ff]His daughter (one of the paramedics) was in an accident and he was in the hospital asking for her and watching the op [/spoiler:07ccbaf6ff]I thought it looked useful for anyone wanting footage for AU's
I'm glad to hear he's in it some more later on in the series :D _________________

It does look useful because he's a doctor to one of the people who 'work' there. And he looks very much like Christian. Though I only saw a promo so I don't know if he acts like him. |

Oh that's right, she is in it! Coolness! (Yes, I've watched that movie twice now for the, like, 2 minutes of Christopher Eccleston in it, lol! ) |

The English Patient (w/ Naveen as supporting actor) aired tonight. I saw it in theaters but haven't seen it since (all I remember of it is the scene with, er, the one guy's hand.) DVRed it; watching it tomorrow.
I cannot say the same of Rollerball, also airing on some channel (probably something stupid like Spike) in the next few days. That movie is awful, and can't be saved by any casting. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

I used to rent movies all the time. And I was YOUNG when Rollerball came out, and I rented it. (The remake not the original). The owner of the video store, who knew me was like " I hated this movie, and I am not going to allow you to waste your money on this, so just take it, and bring it back tomorrow." I forgot to watch it, heard NOTHING but bad things about it,, and just never got around to watching it. |

Brooke: I advise you wholeheartedly, don't waste your time, even with Naveen in it. (He's not really in it all that much anyway.) Everyone except for Chris Klein shuffles through it with distinct 'just doing it for the paycheck' looks on their faces. Klein appears to be taking it semi-seriously, and of course suffers the most for that commitment.
The original from the '70s is interesting as a piece of Cold War kitsch (nameless European countries and paranoia), but it isn't high art either. It's a damn sight better than the remake, nonetheless. I was... eh, 20? or so when the remake came out, and yeah, no, don't. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. Like I said, I mainly remember the hand thing with fingers breaking and whatnot. I know the general gist of the plot (and own the book), but was 15 when it came out, so it's almost half a lifetime away.
Ain't really much on tonight until Project Runway though, so will probably watch it in a few. If not tonight, then this weekend, since tomorrow night I have to chaperone a student party. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.
