Brief diversion to note: No women have short hair on TV. Otherwise they're butch. Didn't you know?

(As someone who has a pixie cut, I'm serious about that, in a way. Long hair = sexy to the TV executives, even when someone doesn't look good with long hair!)

Oh, and PS: Do we ever see Sayid off-island talking on a telephone?

(I'm thinking maybe 'Greater Good,' but it's a guess.)

There are tons of actresses like that anyway. (Honestly, I think Evangeline Lilly's one of them, come to think of it; her features are small and her eyes are fairly big; I think she'd look better with shorter hair.)

Every night of network TV is 'Get a haircut!' sometimes. American Idol and other people-embarrassing-themselves-in-front-of-millions styled shows are great for that. (Anyone remember last season's American Idol, when they put Lil Rounds--who had a Rihanna-style pixie cut--in the worst extensions ever?)

They dont have a lot of scenes together. Bar 6x03, there's a couple of scenes in 1x05 White Rabbit, when Claire delivers Aaron in 1x20 and they're together in Maternity Leave, also Kate keeps charlie away from Claire in Fire+Water.

And as for the short hair debate Leslie Hope had a pixie cut in season 1 of 24 and was definitely not butch, Mariska Hargitay always has short hair in Law and order but i wouldnt call her butch, Alyssa Milano had a pixie cut through two seasons of Charmed, lol, I can think of plenty

I need a scenery shot of the ocean, I have been looking through my Lost clips but can't seem to find one.

There's a good one where Sun and Claire are washing clothes on the beach and Sun looks out on to the ocean before realising she's lost her ring. I think it might be The Whole Truth, maybe?

Another good one is the S3 finale where Hurley is on the phone to Jack and then Claire asks him if Charlie's back. I think he looks out to the ocean then.
