can i crash this dan love in? cant say i like the guy; he's a little too weak and jittery for me; reminds me a lot of doug from scrubs, aka "Nervous Guy" lol And his stuttery, slow way of talking annoys me. I do like him and charlotte as a pairing tho

Miles i love; he's quirky and funny and had a little moment with Kate i this ep.

pilot guy i also like; although he reminds me of Tom from Otherville, which may be why i like him. I like how he ties in to the story being the orginal pilot for the flight.

Charlotte; am not fussed either was as long as she doesn't start get chummy with the losties; dont wanna see another nikki and paulo situation. i dont really care either way with her; id much prefer it if she was naomi, actually

id love to see ConMama too. i was hoping for it when both claire and sawyer went with Locke but they had NO lines together. That coffee scene was the first season 4 conmama moment, yays. and now with Kate heading back to the beach, and to Jack , and, imo, pretty much ending things with sawyer, and the fact that sawyer and claire have now made eye contact this season; they have to have SOME scenes together, right?

Same - In The first episode I hated them all but I think Miles is kinda cool now.
Can't stand the other 3 and like you said, I think I'd prefer Charlotte to be Naomi, at least she seemed a little more interesting.

Mostly, I was questioning the "reckless" comment. I don't see anything that Claire did in the last ep, or has done since Charlie's death, as reckless.

She's not a fall-down mess, no, but we can't say she isn't grieving by the short amount of time we've seen her character. Like I said everyone grieves in different ways. I think we're expected as an audience to assume that Claire is dealing with things in her own ways. Maybe she cries herself to sleep? We don't know that because they don't show us that. And I think my point earlier about being able to have happy moments, despite being sad, is part of what makes us human, and is probably what is going on with Claire.

Everyone seems to hate Claire right now, and to be really bummed out by the show. But I am loving it. Which I find... weird. Hahaha. I like the direction it's going, I like that it's moving things along rather quickly (in its own slow-ass LOST fashion.) And I like that they actually USED Claire's character in this episode. And I don't see much wrong with the way she acted, simply cause it was only a few snippets out of her time in Eggtown. (Which I'm thinking is supposed to be like Sawyer's moniker, Cavetown, lol.)

[AND!, It must be said, that as much as the ConMama shipper in me would like it, I don't think she was flirting with Sawyer *in the least, like someone here mentioned. I think she was being suggestive about Sawyer and Kate's relationship and taking the opportunity to leave them alone to talk. ]

KC, I pretty much agree with you about everything. I do truly believe that she loved Charlie, but I think that she has a right to have a little fun and chat with Kate. I like to think that she's broken down sobbing a few times off-screen, but they just don't want to show it. I think she is sad. I still love Claire, and, like KC, I am loving the show this season. Eggtown is definately not my favorite episode, but I have faith in Lost. Next week will be better. I'm sure once Claire finds Charlie's ring (I am holding out hope that she will) we'll see more of reaction. Everyone deals in a different way. Maybe she seemed a little too happy, but we don't know. She might be trying to put on a brave face, because she hasn't really had anyone to talk to about Charlie's death.

I also think that Claire going to make coffee was just an excuse to let Kate and Sawyer talk. Claire's a Skater.

As for Claire, it looks just bad on her character because the way I see it, she pretended to like Charlie, kissing him and all, so she'd have a babysitter handy. She wasn't even thinking of Charlie when she asked Kate to take the baby (oh, Kate doesn't want to hold Aaron. Charlie would be running. *sad face* eh. not even. )
