Lost just concludes it's theory that death cannot stop you from being hot, haha. I hope we see pretty dead!Boone in a future episode. Or really, any dead castaway. Only in Lost can we say that with hope. ;D
Some people even stopped watching when Boone and Shannon died way back. I know it broke my heart, but yes, I was always intrigued with all the characters, mythology, and writing that I couldn't just up and stop watching. _________________ All for: Skate, Jawyer, Jate, Jacket, Suliet, Shoone, and basically, Dan Faraday and Sawyer + everyone. |

I still have mixed feelings about this episode.
I mean, in my opinion (don't eat me!), I don't think too much happened. Claire smiles and gets coffee and hangs up laundry, Kate and Sawyer had *not all the way* fun, Locke is being all bleh and throwing stuff, Miles had a grenade in his mouth, and then the
"Hi mommy."
"Hi Aaron."
Music: DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNnnnn.
7.5/10 starz. _________________

Dude, perfect synopsis
Also: poor Cinthia. I'm on your side with this one, for once.
Although, this episode was supposedly written by one of the worst writers there is, and the things we have such beef about were pretty trivial things. Perhaps we shouldn't be jumping to conclusions about these things being "canon". Perhaps Claire will indeed get an ep soon where we'll see she's grieving still, and they'll just pretend like those couple scenes didn't really happen .
I wouldn't chock it up to "Lost sucks". Just "this ep sucks".

plus, i do like the idea of squished the tree frog - perfect Lost adjustment for jumped the shark But is this the final end of Skate? Surely, she wouldnt go back to him again? |
lol, I'm thinking more like: a momentary end, where they're not worrying about each other (and Sawyer moves on to Claire ), and then somewhere around the finale some huge drama thing happens where they could all die, and then they get back together and confess their love or something . But yeah, definitely not the end, end. It's NEVER the end, end.

I aim to please
KC - you're crazy. Claire can't possibly grieve without letting us know. It's not the tv way! We want our characters dripping with angst! And I want to know if she really did love Charlie or not! Don't go defending those writers, or we'll never find out this stuff!
Besides, there's a much simpler explanation: the writers are wrong. |

OR. Perhaps instead of being crazy, perhaps my faith has been tested so much I've already given up hope and thus have no expectations and thus can never be disappointed?
It's a good way to live, I must admit. (Even though it's not entirely the case. With characterization though? YES. If I wanted to start getting annoyed at Claire's characterization I would have started AGEEEES ago.) |

I JUST found this out, so sorry if anyone already knew this, but I had never heard the term "Eggtown" and finally was told what it means.
Way back when, when people would trade, they would not trade for eggs, because you can't keep them for long, they spoil, etc. etc.
So whenever traders would go about trading, they would tell other traders, "don't go to that town, it's an eggtown, you won't get a good deal"
So summed up, Eggtown means a place where there isn't a good deal.
Semi-interesting, learn something new everyday, but this to me seemed the most appropriate place to put it hehe. |
